I am waiting for my seeds but trying to learn as much as possible so I don’t mess up. I have Fox Farm Ocean/Forest soil. I have 3 and 5 inch cloth pots. I also have Fox Farm nutrients, Big Bloom, Buds and Blooms and Grow Big three bottle set. This is my first grow and I hope to succeed. I am a disabled Nam Combat Veteran 100% ptsd and just cannot afford the price at the dispensary 400 oz. I hope I am not duplicating another post but just learning how to navigate here. I don’t know how often to feed these plants once I start growing.

With ffof soil as we abbreviate it here it has enough nutrients in it to last roughly 3 to 4 weeks before needing to add liquid nutrients so its just plain ph water for the first few weeks me personally at 3 weeks i typically start feeding nutrients at quarter strength of what fox farms recommends on there nutrients schedule there nutes are strong then i work my way up over time upping my nutrients over time till i hit flower then im at full strength from there for actually feeding the girls i do feed days and plain water days ill start with a feed days then 2 to 3 days layer when it comes time to water again i give just plain ph’d water to help break up any salt build up
Also ill say alot of people say ffof soil is to hot for seedlings which i agree i recommend starting the seeds in fox farms happy frog soil its alot more gentle of a soil on seedlings then you can transplant into ffof soil onve tje plant has become more established and is ready for a more enriched soil

Get yourself a PPM meter and begin feeding once runoff PPM dips below 1,000. Ocean Forest is generally has plenty of nutrients for the first 4 - 6 weeks. Strain has very little to do with how much you feed.

Do you mean 3 and 5 gallon pots? 3-5 inch pots not very large.
Most new growers fail in the germination and seedling part of the grow that’s what you should read up on and make sure you have a good light if growing indoors

Welcome to the community. Do you have FF Tiger bloom if not you will need it also.
Definitely wanna make sure u have tiger bloom. I use the liquid trio amd FFOF soil myself.
Also, thank u for ur service. Cal-mag is also a must btw. U can get a decent sized bottle for like $20 on the Walmart app, I order everything from there except my grove bags and my soil. Don’t let the Calvin Klein women’s box fool u
