How much pH Down to add?

yes, it would :slight_smile:

I dunno if it’s a learned skill but ph’ing will get more comfortable for you over time.

When I started adjusting the pH, I’d count out drops of the up or down, stir, then check pH…over and over…until my target pH was hit. Then I’d walk away, get some coffee or whatever and go back to check again. That would give the pH time to level out, and then you can use the water or add more pH up or down.

One thing to avoid is using too much of either pH up or down then having to use the other to re-balance, a kind of pH ping pong.

@bob31

There’s that P H question again …lol

and you guy’s are great once again

That’s what were here got I’d to try an lessen the load for y’all

lol… get the pH right and the rest seems to fall in line, Will !

@garrigan62

It’s true @Matthew420 that temperature can affect pH reading, however, it’s at higher temp like your link specify.

At acceptable temperature for watering plant (between 18°C and 30°C), the pH reading only gone a have a difference of 0.01

It’s just a little fine tuning my friend :wink::innocent:
