How many plants can I grow with this equipment

I have 2 Mars Hydro TS 3000w and 2 of these

I have a 10 x16 storage room converted to a grow house how many plants can I grow with what I have now and what do I need to purchase in the future to fill up the room

Id say you at least need 8 of the ts3000w as they veg 5x5 and flower 4x4 then get 3 or 4 more of the smaller lights to fill any gaps between the bigger lights or edges to be able to fill the room entirely. With what you have you can do about 6-10 plants just estimating that mature plants can get up to 2ft wide. Just my 2 cents. @dbrn32 is the lighting expert and he could give you the best answer. I had 2 ts3000w in my 4x8x6 tent and still needed a small light in between to get even light coverage from end to end

Shoot for 50 watts per square foot of matured cannabis canopy.

How do I do the math to get 50watts per square feet

A typical canopy of a mature, medium sized plant is 4 or 5 sq. ft. Therefore; 200 to 250 watts per plant. You can go higher. I do. I run 3 HLG 135 panels above my plants, which is about 400 watts. It results in a PPFD of ~1000, which is plenty.

With the lights u have now I’d say if u block off the room to have a 4x10 area 4x8 would be a better weed outcome tho but fit the lights to fill a 4x8 area and make a blanket wall to block in the room use rest of the big room as the lung room and vent the exhaust out the shed if possible as u get more lights slide ur temp wall farther out til u have the whole room going if that’s what u want

Imo you should take a look at how you plan to use space. You don’t typically use plant count to determine what you need for lighting, you should use amoit of floor space instead. Then you should look at where your plant canopy would be, and buy lights in accordance with that. If you’re expecting to get 4x4 coverage on 12 hour light schedule your results probably won’t be as good as it could be.

With the 4 lighs you have I would say good for up to about 32 ft²

No doubt . . . close to where I grew up. A single HPS fixture and a 1/2 ounce of trim on the basement floor got me 6 months in county back in the day . . . I hope their laws have or will be changing soon.

Those aosbeic actually produce well. Had a couple 400w ones. Phillips chips but produced solid flowers.

You can stretch them out a little, but will just start loosing bud density. Filling a 10x16 room with decent led lights is going to set you back a pretty penny. This mat be a good opportunity to get with a company like kingbrite and some decent qb knock offs. Won’t have the service like hlg, but will be roughly half the cost and they may even throw you a quantity discount. I don’t really mess with them but @Nicky and a few others have good luck.

Whatever you decide to go with, you will probably want a gang controller to act as a soft start. Titan controls has several options available.

Me and other have had great experience with kingbrite.

By my calculations at 17cents a kw/h it will cost $500.00 a month to light a 10x16 room at 40watts/sqft
Thats just lights…also need vents and climate control with all that heat.
Also will need 53 amps at 120V so probably a dedicated meter as well.
This is at 40w/sqft if you go for 50watts its even more of course.

Looks great!

If you’re looking for way to save money i would condense your plants some. There’s a lot of dead floor space between them, which means you have to spread your light, and requires more fixtures and energy.

I’ve got them to close together

nice! I see you like to repurpose as well. Your chair looks like my garden chair my father gave me. He called the good luck chair.
It’s been outside for over 40 years and still hasn’t rusted.
