How do i tell when super skunk is ready to harvest. And how should buds be cut off so new buds will grow
Super Skunk is an 8-9 week strain. So after about 6-7 weeks of flowering, you’ll see the pistils start to turn red or orange, and the buds will swell. Around this time you’ll want to start looking at the trichomes with some sort of magnification, like a jewellers loupe or pocket microscope. Depending on the type of high you want, you’ll want more or less amber in the trichomes. They will go from clear, to cloudy, and then amber. If you’re looking for a more energetic, “head” high, you’ll want to harvest when there is mostly cloudy, possibly some amber. If you like more of a couch lock, more amber, possibly as much as 50%.

Do tricomes and pistols die
Is your response for auto-flower super skunk? Or photo-sensitive? I have feminized super skunk and it’s the first time I’ve grown photo-sensitive. It’s been just over 11 weeks since they germinated. I’m growing them inside. I’ve been looking at the trichomes and I see a few amber ones mostly on the very top. I keep waiting for more to turn. Help!
I just went through this. Started my timer the day of flip. ILGM said nope. That’s not right. Wait till you see the pistols. Crap. !!
I am having same issue. I can’t decide whether to harvest yet. Sugar leaves look like they sre starting to curl. Pistols are orange and tricomes look cloudy. I think this is the toughest part of growing. I am at 9 weeks since I changed light to 8 hrs. I need help!

Why 8 hrs its Opposed to 12 hrs .You’re cutting yourself short by 4hrs . DON’T DO THAT , the bud Won’t try because it’s only getting an hour’s of light. Look at these points of my letter I am at week at 6
