How close are these

Hello I have 3 autos and this is first one. I am new to the Tricome thing I have always just waited until all the pistils turned amber. These plants only get about 9 hours of sun because of trees and such. The tricome pics are the best I can do but looking through it without the camera moat are still clear.

Plant 2 zittles

Plants 3 G13

these are autos so probably will be ready soon…normal for them is 60-90 days above ground…you need a microscope to get good pictures of trichs or a jewelers loop to just view them…

Any help or advice would be appreciated. I am thinking maybe 2 to 3 more weeks?

I am using a carson 100-250 phone microscope and these are the best I can do. I guess I should cut a bud from each plant and get a better picture?

i wouldn’t cut a bud for a picture…trichome watching is not an exact science…as long as you don’t see a bunch of clear ones you are in the zone for harvest

When I look through it without the camera I can see real good and probably 80% of them are still clear. So when most of them are cloudy that means its time to harvest?

The skittlez looks like it may be done. Can’t see much, but looks like a lot of cloudy. Hard to say with others.

that is when you are in the zone for harvest…so yes this is when you decide

Thanks I will start trimming and give it 1 more week. Wish I could get the camera microscope to work better, in time I will get better.

morning Ds88…

Good Morning

Give em another week, dont take the chance of preharvest.

Thanks that is what I was thinking, gonna cut most fan leaves off and read on how you flush it right. I think you just flood it with a lot of water

Id just leave her alone and let her finish. I wouldnt remove anything. As far as flushing, unless youre using salt based nutes, theres no need. Feed all the way till harvest.

Ok can I ask you about trimming, I have always done a wet trim and I dry them in my shed. I have the temp around 75 and humidity I keep around 50 with a fan on the ground. Using an infinity 4 tier mesh hanging rack but they always seem to be dry after 2 to 3 days. It should take longer any recommendations?

Here is my method…

Day 1-5

Temp 68 -70°F 60% rh

Day 5 - end

Temp 60 to 65°F 50 to 55% rh

Summer time heat dries me out in 4 to 5 days whereas in the winter i cam drag it out 5 to 10

So a little colder and a bit more humidity. I am in so fla so its always hot.lol…Also I am not going to cut every bud off and try hanging the whole plant.

Here are some pics a little better zittles
