This year I have been very lucky not to have any bud rot so far. I zave some ready to harvest already but some have several weeks still to go.

These Apricots get super dark purple color very often for me..

Couple of rainy and warmer days and the budrot is apparent.
This beauty got the chop today because I found some rot on her. Snipped the moldy buds away, gave a litlle Mist of OJ, the lower half in the freezer to wait for laundry day and the tops into the drying room.

Thanks @David1974 , It’s an evey year occurrence at this time. The air is humid(around 80%) and there is alot of morning dew at mornings. If there is no wind especially after it rains, you can bet to find mold spots very soon.
I just try to keep on it as best I can, if the plant is quite mature and not many white pistils visible, I chop it down. Lowers go to the freezer and the rest into the dry room. Check all the buds for mold.
If the plant has some weeks left, I take out the moldy part and give a little mist squirt of OJ and hipe for wind. Check all the plants twice a day.
It is what it is, outdoors is a whole different ballgame…

I definitely know the cons to growing outside. I trim constantly to keep air flow in my plants. I know i lose weight but if the tops get too crowded it can be devastating. Here’s a tropical cherry i just trimmed a few days ago

Looks really happy! I love the way your garden is set up. I wish one day to live in a legal place with a climate suitable for Fotoperiods…
At least my whole family knows about my growings so I don’t have to hide it from them and I live out in the boonies so I don’t get surprise visitors too often either.
Still there are severe concequences(how to spell that one no idea) if the worst would happen. Especially this time of the year when it’s harvest season for the outdoor grow and there are dozens of plants.

I gorilla grew for years before it was legal. Definitely can be scary. But I do miss the adrenaline
