Speaking of the next batch, a few days ago I was adjusting the LST on the youngsters and awww snap!- part two happened:

I snapped the other Purple Punch this time, the main stem. A quick drop of honey in the gash, a toothpick for support and a round of tape. The girl hasn’t shown any signs of wilting or suffering…

Dayum, I have to learn to be more gentle with my girls…

I’ve snapped a few just to see them stand back up. Always surprises me. Usually turn out to be the biggest ones as well.

Well we hope that will be the case here too!!

I don’t feed after the last top dress wk6. I do a K boost with potassium sulfate till wk 8-9 that the molasses doesnt cover. The last 10-16 or so days I switch waters to raw sugar form to overwhelm micro heard into gorging on a less available sugar source and away from amendments.

@Budbrother Ok, so assuming I have a micro heard roaming in my soil, it might not be a bad idea to give them molasses with the water? How is raw sugar different, do you top dress it or mix with the water?

Sorry so many questions, but this is a priviledge to ask from an expert…

Naw not an expert. Soil food web - micro heard. Molasses look for highest K you can find. It also provides Ca Mg Fe Zn… I use a nickel size drop per gal. It could be thought of as calmag.

Yes there is a difference in carb availability and nutrition content and manufacturing. It doesn’t kick up the brix like BSM, but it is like crack to the heard. I do 1/2 tsp gal but they are drinking less by this point so it’s a one and done for me. Although, there isn’t really a flush with organics; it does help to push them away from the root auxin exudate sugars.

You don’t want sugar on top of the soil or you’ll get fungal blooms.

That’s what I thouht too. I will go one week with water only, and the maybe a couple of days in the dark before chop chop…?

I’d say Apricot gets the command to go to the dark room(death row)…

And tropicana cookies will go there too.

She’s not so amber but close enough. I need the space in the tent as I plan to move the plants from the 3x3 to the 4x4 and use the 3x3 as darkroom/drying room. Make sense?

Last to come, first to go… Today markes day 67 for the Apricot and it was her DOD aswell. After 2 days being alone in the dark her spirit will now have a new purpose. Instead of helping her own body and mind to thrive under any circumstances the surroundigs throwing at her, she will now do the same to humans. And I mean potheads.

Some pictures of her last living day:

The smell wasn’t that strong in the grow tent(I think it’s a good thing, the trrpenes are not evaporating but stay in the trichomes), but when i took the branches apart and trimmed off some fan leaves, there was an explotion on one distinct aroma - ripe apricot! So clean smell of apricot, I couln’t identify any other notes.
Can’t wait to have a taste! Fastbuds are saying the Apricot is a true terpene bomb…

I’m glad you have a good one. I do like the fruity ones, let us know how they go :+1::+1:

I was going for a nebula manifold and snapped off the one side, that branch didn’t make it. I was bending mine down today and found massaging the bend spot gently for a few seconds makes it pliable. I use the clips so the more pliable the better!

@Truetopath I just watered the plants and checked, that broken part is now a big knuckle. It healed really well and fast. I didn’t snap a foto for my battery ran out, I’ll get one soon.

Bending the stem back and forth with two hands and a little pressure softens the it really well. I was just overconfident and lazy and ot backfired…
