Hi guys and gals. My question today is about how far is the ideal distance for a HLG 150w quantum board led to seedlings on day two of their life. I’m growing in a 2x2 tent. My second question is what intensity I should dim the light to for new seedlings.. sorry only my 3rd grow ever…

That depends on the intensity setting Grow Bro. Does this fixture have a dimmer and do you have a light meter or the smart phone app PHOTONE

I have a dimmer, I had that app once before but I couldn’t get accurate readings with it maybe I was doing it wrong..

It would be difficult for me to give you a lighting height and intensity setting without a meter. For the seedling stage your PPFD should be in the range of 100-300. I’ll usually start my seedlings around 200-250 and observe their growth. If you notice some stretching, lower the fixture or increase the intensity and the opposite for any adverse reactions noticed on the plant

I run two QB-150’s for starts and typically run at 25% at around 15" above plants. 24/0 schedule.
