Herminmyflowertent

hello, bananna kush, have i got me a herm here? thanks , John

Nah dude - that’s pure female there.
The green bulb is the calyx and the fibrous hairs are the pistils.
What you got is a pistil-packin’ mama!

Good work!!

edit: Oh hey - Welcome to the tribe!!

Is potentially concerning still depending on the age of the plant. As those are receeding. Which would indicate a Hermie in the bunch. Not necessarily that one. Unless you’re in late flower. Then normal.

Prematurely receeding and darkening pistils is a sign of pollination.

Welcome to the community. Looks like a girl.

The photo shown (seems like 2x the same one?) appears entirely female. More photos of different nodes would help.

Here’s a good visual of what a female flower structure begins like - that is what you’re seeing here.

Someone around here has mentioned that early male parts look more like spades :spades: and that’s very true.

Here’s a few photos of a true male and the pollen sacks forming for reference

Are those calyxes from lower on the plant, away from all of where the action is happenimg at the top of the plant? My lower calyxes did the same thing, on both plants. Im assuming it has something to do with heavy trimming on the bottom if the plant, but thats just a guess, bc ive only done one grow so far, and i trimmed all the lower branches. Either way it looks fine…

Are they yellowing from the lighting or is that their actual color? Mine never turned yellow.
