Both plants have been topped . 1 all new growth is lime green the other top leaves has folded over on them themselves and look like leaves are starting to strip like mag deficiency. Start giving epsom salt to help with the magnesium. One half to one teaspoon per gallon and keep everything else the same. Assuming you are feeding nutes. What kind? How many ppm?
I mix my nutes to ppm I want/need then add half teaspoon epsom every feed. I don’t check ppm after mixing epsom only before.

These plants have never had nutrients other then what is in the soil and water ph to 6.5 . I do have cal mag plus but have never used it.

Ive never checked ppm before watering or the run off. As u can tell im a Newby at all this indoor stuff.

At the age of these plants I would follow a drench to drought routine Growmie…let them hit the drought/dry period before watering again. You’re in a great organic soil with the COM and nothing needed but water. I’m not seeing any deficiencies but possibly over watering or the soil is to wet preventing the roots from taking in oxygen. When was the last time the PH pen was calibrated? Most deficiencies are PH related but a good organic soil will have the ability to buffer the PH to the range of 6.3-6.8. I would start checking the run off PPms around week 4 to see when nutrients will be needed. Do you plan on amending with organic or synthetic nutrients? :love_you_gesture:

I just calibrated the pen about 5 days ago. My water is about 8.2 and i go to 6.5 i was using lemon juice but now i just got some earth juice ph down . I didnt relize the first 2 and half weeks that i had to test my spray bottle every time i used it because the ph creeps back up but now i do. I usually amend if i have to with earth juice or may go ganja green . So do i not have to worry about the purple stems i have lsd from barneys that a week younger starting to get purple stems too but they look great? I keep my tent about 73degrees 70% humidity and vpd about 8

I usally try to let them dry up 5 to 6 days till i feel no moisture down a couple inches

Nothing wrong with purple stems if the plant looks healthy. Almost every plant I grow has purple stems at one period or another during the grow :love_you_gesture:

COM is organically amended and easier and more tolerable than synthetic. They’ll do fine and when you water to run off this and the plants consumption will lower the PPMs. If you plan on amending these with organic nutrients I would skip the run off and just keep the medium slightly damp to keep the microbial life alive :love_you_gesture:
