1st time grower here , growing Blue Dream outside . I week until chop and I just noticed this bastard today and these other white flecks on one of my main colas ! I have 12 other plants but didn’t notice on the others and it wasn’t like this last night . I know not much I can do being in flower and so close to chop . Can anyone tell me what this is and any recommendations? Chopping this weekend , obviously I’ll need to do a bud wash but anything else ??
Difficult to say for sure on size. Could be aphids, could be thrips.
Thoroughly apply Captain Jacks Deadbug and it should take care of them to death…

So you think it will be ok until this weekend or anything else I could use ? I wouldn’t have it delivered from Amazon until Sunday and that I Was chopping this weekend anyway .

If you’re chopping I would do a peroxide wash, and not worry about it.
I would continue with the delivery, you’ll need it for the next grow.

I just found some captain Jack’s locally and getting ready to use it . I just wanted to make sure it’s ok to spray the budz and the entire plant, correct ? I just don’t want to do it wrong and ruin everything 6 days before chop ! So just saturate the entire plant , underside of leaves , budz and everything right ?
Yes. Safe to use into flowering up to the last two weeks before harvest. It’s a special bacteria that kills bugs from the inside out, but doesn’t hurt us.
Yes apply everywhere. Particularly under leaves, and on top. Adjoining leaves and stems too.

Likely not in 2 weeks. Don’t forget to do a bud wash.

Yeah I was planning on doing a wash . Does a bud wash remove a lot of the trichs or effect the quality of the budz ?

Potency and trichomes are not lost. Just gets rid of mold, dust and insects.

Never delt with them, but thrips have a similar appearance.

Not sure , freaking me out though lol
Either way, just harvest if they are ready and wash the buds as good as possible. I would not be using pesticides that late in the game. @Newbe1kenobi
