I planted these Granite Haze F5 Autoflower seeds on June 16. I was keeping them outside but it got so hot for a couple of weeks I was afraid I would burn them up, so I kept outside, but in shade. Plenty of light, just not direct sun. One had an invader, but I found that, and it is coming out of it better than the others, in fact. They seem to have stopped growing. I want to put them in the ground now that it has cooled off some (still in 80’s, instead of 90’s). How do I get them out of this discoloration? Is it nutrient or water? Help, I already burned through 5 seeds (old ones) and I can’t waste too much more time on them. Thanks for any help.

It is overwatered. Transplant and water only a couple ml of water per day. Increase watering quantity as the plant grows, but never water more than the plant came dry out the soil in a couple of days.
Welcome to the forum.
looks dampened off/drown.
So, should I go ahead and stick them in the ground? I’m in the Midwest and it’s been in the 90s for a couple of weeks and feels like 100s from humidity.
Thats what god does. I personally would pot them in a 2 or 3 gallon cloth pot. Fill them out a bit out of full sun then bury the whole pot.
IMHO, up pot them to bigger pots for time being they are to small and need to get good root base to be out in elements. If you can start a few more and put in drier soil/medium of what you are using. I lost 24 seedlings in just this manner last yr it hurt but lesson learned. Luck to you.
Jinx. Was typing the same..lmao
Oh, OK. I’ll transplant to a bigger pot for now. I read that autos don’t care to be transplanted, but I’m just gonna try it. I have to just go for it! Thanks for the help. I’m fairly new at this. Have done a couple of grows in past years with decent results. Appreciate the advice. I’ll report back later to see if it’s working.
At this point it will get much better or totaly south
Look overwatered, place them outside for a few hours a day to harden off ![]()
+1 for over watering if your in soil follow a wet dry cycle and let the roots develop by searching for water as the pot dries then water till runoff and repeat
Also, make sure your starter cups have holes in them to drain, or they will be standing in water and drown.

I agree with all our friends here, those planties look overwatered.
Also keep in mind that after a few days, it’s normal if they seem to stall. Most of the times it’s because they are building their root system. ![]()
For me, usually, after being stalled for approximately a week, growth picks up again with a vengeance.
Transplanted to a little larger pots. Hoping that helps. ![]()
