Click on normal and set it for watch.

In the picture purp posted, you will see a button at the bottom of journal, it will say normal. So scroll to bottom of journal you want to follow, click on button that says normal, you will get a drop down box, click on watching. After you do that anytime someone post on that journal you will get a notification. On your avatar at top of page you will see a blue circle with the number of notifications you have. Click on avatar and you will see all of your notifications.
