Help please this isn't right ahhh

Hey all so I finally got do e better pics of my leaf discoloration. I know that with all the knowledge here and my ability to follow directions I think we can nip this in the bud.lol

So one pic is the whole plant not that you can see any trouble there but the browning yellow patch on the leaves I don’t like. Thanks

Looks like you may need some cal mag.

I’m with the other two guys. If that doesn’t line things out or that discoloration keeps showing up check the pH of your runoff/medium. I knew I was feeding my girls right first grow and had some patches like that. The more light they got, the worse it got. Turned out my coco was somehow (thanks vivosun for that wonderful pH meter) well over 7. Probably was a Cal or mag deficiency because they uptake better at lower pH. I got a pH20 and lined out the pH in the coco. Problem solved.

Okie dokie cal/mag was up for this water cycle so should I give that girl a little more than normal?

I am not as skilled as these growers, however I disagree. Your discoloration is starting on older fan leaves which indicates a mobile nutrients issues from what I have read. Been reading a ton of these threads and find that almost every time a deficiency comes up everyone says throw some Cal-Mag at it. I actually had a Cal-Mag issue but no need for Cal-Mag it was a build up of nutes in the soil and a high ppm, very high. And that was preventing uptake from the soil.

I say nitrogen excess judging from the deep green and how the leaf damage is progressing. But who am I.

Not sure calmag going to be your issue if you have it on a schedule. Not a lot needed. Can foliar apply it. I would check Ph first. And a runoff test for nute toxicity. Just me. Went living soil so rusty now.

Although I disagree on nitrogen excess, I am in agreement that it’s at least possible that this is not cal mag. It might be(looks like it) but I did not see anything about whether you are ph adjusting your water. If not, a multitude of issues may present themselves, including this. Not saying it’s not cal mag deficiency, just saying ph is very important and problems lil this can be as simple as that.

Is that water being adjusted for ph?

Oh and those affected leave will not repair themselves

Make adjustments (ph-cal /mag) pluck bad leaves and watch the now healthy leaves to see if problems progress, or stop

Living soil?

Patience is key. Takes longer to fix than fall but overcorrecting hurts much more. Just my thoughts. Baby step her and it will level out.

I’m 53, so I’m in the older crowd but still hate all the waiting

Im planning on using my next grow to do a comparison from living soil to nutes

Living soil is the blend of castings etc that you dont nute and just add ph water. Supposed to be amazing for the taste etc. I wonder if its true

Yes water is pH adjusted. I just had a thought. I think I might o f spilled a little of Nute water on the leave so at a stronger concentration than a foliar solution. Could that be the issue? Thanks again for thorough explanation.

I’m not terribly good at reading plants, but I’m relatively sure this is not nute spillage.

It looks like a deficiency of some sort, but again not great at this

Personally I would pluck the affected leaves(they don’t repair themselves) and carefully watch the newer growth, after making sure all my nutrients and cal mag if not in nutes, is on point

If there are new leaves affected, you’ll know problems still exist and at worst, you can totally flush plant with regular water and start over on nutes

Oh I already said a lot of that. I might have smoked weed since then lil
