Help! Nute burn, deficiency, or light burn?

3rd grow and 1st time this has happened to me.
Anesthesia auto
5 weeks in soil
RO water
LED 600w
12" between light and main cola
ILGM nutes (using the flower booster)
I’ve been light on ILGM nutes, started with half dose and only feeding every other water.
pH is a little high at 6.4
Haven’t fed nutes in the last two waterings (about 1 week) but the discoloration and now curling just keeps coming.
As you can see, most of discoloration is at top but seems to be working its way down.
Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Light burn raise the lights

Your pH is actually not that bad. 6.4-6.8 is a good range for soil. Looks like light burn. Use the hand test for the light. Would say the light is too close.

@TxGrowman, no problem bro, @Jpositive my pleasure buddy

Because I’m relatively a fat novice- I’m just gonna take a shot at this for practice and boredom- maybe it’ll help but I’m sure there’s gonna be some more advanced growers with a little more information helping out real soon.
First off- u said you have been using bloom/flower nutes throughout the 1st 5 weeks? So could that mean u have possibly been under feeding with the nitrogen? Something I’d look into.

Added following part of post after reading others’ responses…:grimacing:

  • sounds like you should adjust the lights 1st & foremost.
So- if my guess was way off, would the bloom nutes being used throughout the vegetative stage, including as early As days 1-10 to 14 be an issue in general at all?
→ Many if not most of LEDs I look into these days give 12" as the closest you can keep it away from the plant…I wonder if your LED light instructions also tell you to keep the light 12-18" away during veggie stage. If so it wouldn’t be the first time these guys have saved someone A headache by avoiding the manufactures instructions

So hopefully 4 more inches will be sufficient. ( I lowered the plant) That makes 16" distance between top cola and light.

Anesthesia (with the light burn) is on left and that’s a very tall hashiscsh berry auto on right with no light burn whatsoever.
P.S. I just finished watering, leaves a little droopy now.

I use fox farm ocean forest soil…no, no nutes in the first couple of weeks. I then work my nutes by half dose. I hear less is more
The first couple of weeks of the plants life I use a 6400k cfl lamp and keep in on 24-7 for the first week of that. Then move to the led tent where there is at least 18" or more between light and plant. Once she goes into flower I keep a rigid 12" at least.
I grew a beautiful Blue Mystic auto with these specs and the help of the ILGM team I came out with 1.5oz dry yield.

My honest opinion is some strains are much more sensitive and harder to accommodate. This Anesthesia seems to be a good example for me.

No doubt that some strains can really challenge newer growers. That is why some are listed as for beginners and some are not.

Any way you can get 2" higher, you are using an led light which give off intense light

I agree it is light burn too.
But control EC anyway
