I put them in five gallon smart pots final pot. They look like they need water but I did a finger test and fox farm soil feels moist not to moist but it has moisture. They are about 20 days old … one has third set of leaves and the other 4th set. Should I start them on nutes??? I read don’t start nutes till flowering time they are 7 week autos ( they are still small) humidity is at about 55-60 and temp is constant 76* . Would appreciate any tips don’t want to over water.
Just wilt no signs of deficiencies nice and green to dark green
Looks a little over waterd… Just a little…
Well I haven’t watered should I lower the humidity?
I’m a rookie because I would have said it looks like it needs water. Tis why I’m here learning. Will follow so I can learn in case I bump across this with mine.
@Wigsplit you’re the only one that knows for sure… it just looked that way to me and it could just be because of your LED panels… it just kind of looked that way to me… I have been wrong before …
One thing I have learned here is information is king. So many variables. Best to fill out support ticket so people can help faster - saves asking questions back and forth.
You must understand plants will always look different whether they’re waking up , going to sleep , under waterd , over waterd , over nuted , under nuted and everything in between… but I was just throwing it out there… I didn’t want to confuse… like I said you’re the only one that can tell whether you are overwatered or under-watered but I was just throwing it out there good luck brother…
Otherwise they look healthy…
Just got back from local hardware got a hydrometer we will see if this baby is over watered
Mine aren’t as old but I try for ~72F and 50% humidity. They seem to like it. If I go warmer, the temp drop with the lights off will go beyond the 10 degree difference mark.
Good luck!
All I love this little device my little plants where dehydrated… this little meter give me moisture level , light levels … and soil ph … nifty little device … best 12 bucks I’ve spent …
Thanks for all you guys help I’m learning a little bit … " who said an old dog can’t learn new tricks ) ?
By the way to my friends on the forum … these are at true value hardware 11.99 nice tool to have when in doubt
Well since they are autos I’m trying the 24 hour light schedule so I can get them to stretch as much as possible… that’s why they where wilting… drying up fast hey peach
fuss thanks for sparking my brain
I like mine too. I question the PH though, or at least it’s not incremented enough to know where the needle is actually pointing too. If that makes any sense. Great tool though.
Yeah I figure if it’s between 6 and 7 I’can live with that
@Matthew420 …over and under watering looks similar
@Wigsplit …notice what the plants weighs now that it’s dry, and then water and notice that weight too, and try to remember the difference, that’s how a lot of us judge
- good luck
