Just looking for confirmation on the sex before I kill this one.
I’m like 99% sure it’s a male but I just need reassurance

Here are both my current plants! Only one seems to be growing balls lol. About 5 days since flipping to 12/12

I suspect that you are correct about it being male. It is not 100% clear to me from the photos.
I’m undecided, a week or 2 more should tell. How long have these been above ground
Here’s a pic of them from July 31st!
We also had a hiccup… I evacuated a hurricane so they were left without water and light for 4 days. I expected them to die but that actually bounced back pretty quick.
I’ll give them some more time before I go committing murder
Gotcha, I typically see signs of sex around week 6-8. Were these regular seeds?
They were just random bag seeds!
16/8 light cycle until the evacuation, 4days of darkness, then back on 16/8 for about a week. I just flipped to 12/12 this past weekend (Sunday I think).
Looks male to me
That’s not a Lady, that’s a man, man…
Dude, Dude, Dude looks like a lady…
@Bonjoyle @Dexterado thank you!! I was definitely thinking male.
Here are some more clear pics from today
Try picking off the male apperatures
Then look for more (Really males).
Need pollen?
Oh shit, so don’t kill it, just pull off the balls and see if more pop up?
This is my first indoor grow, only did one outdoor grow so I’m still learning a lot.
What is the benefit of pollen? Creating a mother to take clones?
Males, for sure
have fun, reading.
I do
Thank you!! There’s so much info on here, I never know where to start.
I thought balls = males (kill him).
Always learning new stuff, much appreciated!
For Males in grow, think fox in the hen house.
Males, often, are less desirable (in a grow garden).
Experienced growers will use for pollen or stud.
My yard was 10 females and 5 males (outdoor yard grow in PNW gets rot and weather not for growing full mature colas). It grows seeds, quite well.
Bag seeds, for sharing or experiments.
ILGM seeds utilized in indoor tent.
Above, as mentioned, is my thread with many forum contributors.
Thankfully.
Knowledge shared is important and may divert the pains of firsthand learning, we hope.
Until the male sacks open, no pollen is available.
Females in grow will then be a problem if male pollen is available.
Females will grow after pollination, but not as fast as virgins.
Oil production may be less on pollenated/fertilized plants, that’s why they become undesirables, for most.
