Im taking note here✌️. Been using those xmas bud file notebooks for just that. And my daily log of course.
So every 8 cups you put in, u like to get 1.2 cups back? Or do you by % of pot volume? Ppl do it differently. When I water this huge sour crack auto (mephisto) im getting about 4 cups back out of 8. Twice a day. So 50% of what im running thru. I tried watering some of the others a second time tonight but out of 8 cups, a cpl of them gave back 6 cups. So maybe they’re not ready for 2 a day?
I found it, Jilly Bean didn’t know I still had, still has that fruity flavor. Sure wish I still had some of them tga genetics.
@Hellraiser have you tried the jacks ultra-violet for mid flower ? hope its good got 25 pound bag to last for ever-lol-
Happy Growing
Cuz I can’t leave stuff alone. LOL
But really it’s about bringing the nitrogen down a little bit in flowering and giving them just a touch more phosphorus and potassium.
Yes, for every gallon I use, I want to get back 19-25 ounces in runoff which will ensure there is minimal salt buildup and that I’m watering enough to make all the coco wet, don’t want any dry spots which will lead to roots not doing so well.
It takes some trial and error to see how much water is needed for the right amount of runoff and takes a couple days to get the plants/pots into the routine and adjust to it. Can also just use less water for the second watering til the plants show that they could use more.
Nope, never used it, don’t plan on using it, not part of the Jacks 321 recipe. The high NPK value (5-50-18) for phosphorus would scare me off of using it. Not a fan of high P flowering super/ultra boosters, very easy to burn up your plants with it and that stuff stays in the medium for a long time.
Happy Cannaversary HR…where do I send the bouquet of cigars?

Congrats professor !
Thanks professor…spit my drink out!! LMAO!
Sorry I don’t do emails, breaks my OPSEC, also I never accept anything as that would also break my OPSEC.
Hello everyone, I have a problem with two of my three plants.
They are in week 6 of flower. Both plants have a small amount of tip burn. One is also showing a few rust spots on the fan leaves near the top colas. This plant with the spots is close to the LED light so that my be what has caused it.
The rust spots I believe are a cal mag issue, but idk if I should adjust part B or epsom? By how much? It seems that I should bump the amount by 0.2
I forgot to take a picture, I can post one later if it will help diagnose.
Being too close to the light will take a toll on those upper leaves and nothing will really fix that damage once done. If not seeing similar issues on the mid and lower leaves I’d just ride it out and not change anything. Calcium needs go down around week 6 of flower so I would not be pushing more calcium (or nitrogen) at that point.
OPSEC = operational security.
Thank you for the advice @Hellraiser
Kush filled i might add…lol
Alright, love being back home, had a unexpected death in the extended family and had to fly out of town for the funeral and then my return flight on Sunday got cancelled and didn’t get back til last night. So gonna take a few days to get caught back up and mail out seeds, start next grow, etc…
As for the Gelatos, I had my daughter turn off the lights on Friday night and i chopped them last night so they had about 72 hours of dark, which really wasn’t the plan but no biggie, they were pretty dry last night, some leaves were wilted.
Took a pic before the chop
Did not get much color change of the leaves with the 5 days of Winter Frost and then about 10 days of water only, little disappointed with that as I like seeing the harvest colors before chop.
Sorry for your loss brother, we were all alittle worried since you went MIA. Good looking girls, about to chop my banana kush today.
Closer look at the “foxtaily” one.
Closer look at the not as foxtaily one.
Been smoking on the sample buds from both plants and I made the wrong call earlier, thinking the foxy one would be better, it is not. The other one is a bit better in both taste and effect and the taste keeps getting better the longer the sample buds cure, also will yeild twice as much as foxy so that is a positive. You never know til the smoke test.
Here they are chopped and hanging, will be keeping the tent around 55-60RH with temps in the 66-68F range.
Does it matter if you hang them without much spacing between them? I’ve been trying to really space them out, but the more experience I get, the larger the yield. I run out of room so quickly in my 4x2 drying tent that I started using a closet.
