Mines is a 250 or 175 I cannot remember exactly , but it does the job for my water system .

@Hellraiser What was your final thoughts about Jacks vs Advanced Nutrients?

Jacks, if im not mistaken.

I’d say jacks as it is more cost friendly and does about the same as AN does. But hey if u can afford to run AN why not but jacks with some AN nute additives is an awesome grow. Add recharge and tribus and ur set

Both are very good, was very happy with my results with AN for many years but Jacks works just as well as Advanced Nutrients at a fraction of the cost. I’ll be using Jacks for a good while.

Thanks :100: Your plants are beautiful! Like the bud trim technique I’ll be watching this.

From Saturday, at end of week 3, day 21 of flowering for the Gelato and SK, the Gelatos kept stretching and are way too tall again.

Time for another defol and more super-cropping.

Did another large defoliation and bent over the tall Gelato tops, canopy nice and level again.

My gosh! On steroids :exploding_head:
How much more room do you have?
Can’t wait to see the results of the defol and supercrop.

The Cherry seed plants, going to clean/thin them down some and start flowering as they have filled up the tent, short but wide.

None, the light is touching the carbon filter at this point so no room to move it any higher, so have to make the plants shorter, at least the stretch is over so should be good to go.

I did intend to grow these plants kinda large to show what can be done in 3 gal pots, mission accomplished.

That’s what I thought from the pic…dang!

Edit: That is good news for me as I am switching to 3 gallon pots. Thanks Professor Hell!

If I may ask, it you do a large defoliation, do you go after leaves in the middle or on top first? I’m asking because I got rid of most of the bottom third. Still has another four weeks to go.

I was having drinks with a local grower friend over the weekend and he asked me why my harvests are always considerably larger than his. Similar tent size (3x3) and lights (HLG 600 Rspec) and he often runs my clones and seeds I give him. He grew some of my Blue Dream clones SOG style like I did and got just over 12 oz from 9 clones when I got over 17 oz from the same number of clones.

After going over his setup in detail, main difference is that he exhausts into the room the tent is in without much fresh air coming in, so at some point he is running low on CO2. Both of my 3x3 tents exhaust outside (one out of a nearby window and another exhausts into the attic) and this pulls air from the rest of the house which often has 5-7 adults at home, 2 large dogs, and 3 cats, pilot flames on water heater, stoves, etc… All that CO2 rich air is pulled into my tents before being exhausted outside.

My CO2 levels are usually 1000-1200 in the tents (and the room the tents are in), which gives me faster growth and larger yields over someone with similar equipment but lacking my higher CO2 levels.

Make sure your plants are getting good CO2 levels.

I start with the top leaves front to back, then go after leaves in the middle of the plants front to back, then work from under the screen front to back.
