If you’re growing outside it’s too early to start unless unless you’re gonna keep them inside on your lights until the end of May before you put them outside. I start mine mid April and then put him outside at the end of May beginning of June. That way I have about a 2 month Head Start on a growing season

I am growing outside rite now I am trying to find out which way to germinate I usually do the papertowel method and this year I am putting them in ground I use to do buckets but I seem to get spider mites last year I bought durbin posion out of 10 seeds I got six to come up but I got spider mites before I knew it the mites got them and I used neems spray and I live in south eastern Ohio so this year I bought godfather OG so what is the better way to germinate coz I don’t want the seeds to not pop so if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it

Its way too early to put outside

Not because of temp but the amount of light and dark not the age of the plant.

Well to answer your germination question, i germinate directly into medium (soil or coco) and give capful or water daily or when dry. But i would do it the paper towel way like i used too. Wet a napkin put it in a ziploc bag and leave in dark space for 48hrs and check and then check every 24hrs. But like i said i always plant directly into mediums not ive stopped germinating. Too early to put them outside like @plumbdand is saying. BUT not too early to start them INSIDE and have them a decent size before you transplant into the ground outside.

Plant them in solo cups start them indoors for now and thrn move them outdoor and transplant into the ground if thats what your plan is. But unless you have tested your soil and know whats in it outside i would recommend digging a hole and filling it with soil/compost

If you were growing autos they’d be ok to put out after the last frost because the light dark cycle doesn’t affect when they flower, but if they are photos then you want to wait. When i put my plants outside at the end of May they are around 6 weeks old and 2ft tall by September they are 9-10ft

I put seed straight to soil with sime mykos

So I heard that I should put the seeds in water for 48 hours and then put in paper towels when the seeds pop then put in solo cups I usually just germinate in paper towels and my climate I can’t put outside till may I was just wondering the best way to germinate last year I grew durbin posion and out of 10 seeds six came up I put 5 in buckets and I in ground and then I got spider mites I didn’t realize it until I saw white spots the 1 in ground done better then the ones in bucket I used neems spray to get rid of them the one in ground done a whole lot better so I just want to be ready for my growing season

…

Yes you can soak in water for 24hrs first then paper towels but just do the paper towels. Start them inside then move them outside These two fellas have given you great advice also @plumbdand @SilvaBack203

You keep repeating yourself in a rounda bout way my friend

Thanks @BobbyDigital
