Hash Burger and experimenting with topping

I am still a newbie and this year I am experimenting with topping. You can see I have a single, double and quartal. The very first photo, the plant collapsed under heavy rains so I duct taped the break and tied it to a pole. It seems to be doing okay. I thought about topping it at the break but IDK. I now have to research support systems because I can already tell these are weaker and won’t survive the rain once they start budding. The tomato cages worked fine last year but won’t for these.

Could add silica to your feeds to strengthen branches. Could loosen connection to the pole so you get some play there for the winds/rain to keep the branch moving around more. Movement of the branch causes it to naturally strengthen the branch.

These are my two Hash Burger after their second topping. I use the taller tomato cages and let them grow through them.

Topped out to 16 oreoz cake

Topped to 8 amnesia haze

I will let them grow to 5th node and cut back to 3rd right under the 4th to keep a part of stem that wont dry to the knuckle and it help to thicken your branches. Great job plants are looking good
