So before I started my first grow.(I’m currently a month in) I preordered a seedo growing unit. The unit isn’t ready to ship until September and they pulled some funny business with the price. My issues are it’s 40” high and 24” wide so how the heck can you grow successfully with it and the second issue is it’s very expensive. I’m thinking about canceling my preorder. Any advice?

It’s a self sustaining grow box. Not hydroponic.
I always see those things ending bad especially when it comes home and all the cheap stuff breaks and you can’t run and go get new parts and the end up on Craigslist for 200 bucks

stay away from all-in-one tents also.
u will actually save money buying decent equipment.!!
look at Gorilla Tents, even their small 2x2 tents can be extended to make them taller.!

I’m with the rest of the gang pass and get a tent. I bet you could set up a very very nice 4x4 for half the cost I just saw.

In terms of making your money go the furthest, hard to do with that. The flip side is it would be nearly impossible to get all of those features into a package that small period, at any price. So they’re really taxing you on the convenience and stealth factors there.
If you can do without that, you’ll be a lot better off piecing together your grow.

I think everyone here will be on the same page, and so I am now. I looked at the all included (different brands) setups. But at the end of the day, I came to the same realization you did, it’s just to small and I think it would only support 1 plant at a time. You would also be limited to only certain compact strains too.
I’m about 2 weeks into my first grow, spent half the money with my 3’x3’x6’ versus the all included setup. I didn’t go for a low budget setup but didnt buy the top of the line either. I would upgrade my lights in the future but they seem to be working okay for now.

I had a blast setting mine up and learned alot along the way from the members on the forum. Alot of great threads to answer alot of questions too. If you have the time to dedicate to it, I think it’ll be more rewarding than a set it and forget it box. 1 week old yesterday. Happy growing!
