Harvesting first grow

First real grow. Almost harvesting time I have the magnifying glass and they say wait until milky. The Trichomes look milky but I’m not sure if ready yet.

Sure you’ll get others posting too but imo looks like a lot of white hairs still. Hard to say without seeing the trichomes.

I usually wait to see mostly milky with a few amber on the bud itself, not the leaves coming out of the buds.

Should I wait until most the white hairs turn brown?

Generally, yes. Best way to know is looking through a jewelers glass at the trichomes.

I agree with what’s been said and think you still have a few weeks. Wanted to share a visual of what you are looking for

Good advice here. Follow the chart of trichome development and you’re golden.

Take your iPhone/Android to camera. Zoom in to 4X or better, steady your hand, hit focus circle, click photo. Go to Gallery and look at your trichomes. You can really tell more than you think.

Yes to the trichs. But not sugar leaf trichs - bud part trichs. I think you’ll want to wait for more pistils changing color and curling in. I suspect your buds are going to get a lot bigger…

This is a good reference:

Also here’s what one of mine looked like right before harvest. Notice the lack of white hairs.

Also… Nice plant, if those aren’t strain colors, she might be a little hungry, however.

If that was my plant I give it at least 2 weeks
This one has 2+ weeks unless the rain takes her out early

So I’m starting to see a few amber should I harvest?
