Harvested today!

Harvested her today! My first outdoor grow. When chopping I did notice two tiny spots of bud rot trying to happen. I cut those whole buds off just to be safe. I would’ve totally missed it if I didn’t do a bud wash and it giving me a different view of the branch. It’s probably a week early, but with the weather forecast coming up it’s gonna be wet so definitely didn’t want her to start getting moldy or rotting.

Nice, congratulations on your grow. Keep a eye on your drying temps 65-70 with humidity at 60

Yessir! I have it hanging in my 2x2 tent with the bottom vents open and a fan on low from the outside. I put my hygrometer and thermometer in there and plan to check it a couple times a day. I have grove bags for when the cure time comes. Now the waiting game!

Spent 6 hours wet trimming today :sleeping: very therapeutic but now I’m tired…I put the buds in the hanging drying basket to keep drying and I’m going to check the moisture level until cure time. Think I did alright for my first harvest!

Be careful with grow bags. I’ve had a few not seal properly. Particularly the 1/4 pound size. The press and seal the zip comes unstuck from one side making you think it’s sealed but not. Larger bags I have had no problem with. Don’t pack them full leave plenty of room at the top maybe only filling 3/4 full. Good luck and congratulations on your grow

Thank you! I’ll double check the seals when it’s cure time. I’ll be using the ounce bags so if I run into a problem I don’t lose the whole run. Planning to keep at 3/4 full too. :metal:t2:

Bagged her up today with a moisture content on 10.5. Got 2.06 ounces which I’ll take for my first grow that I started a month late with minimal knowledge. This forum has been a great resource!
