Season 1 for this newb. I am starting to harvest 2 outdoor grows of Gold Leaf photo’s and I’m trying to understand how my experience stacks up to expectations. ILGM has a harvest weight of 16-24 oz, which I would think means net dried weight of the flower, in which case my 11 oz harvest is not up to par with “ideal”. So my question is to the harvest claims of seed suppliers and whether or not the numbers they claim are for a perfect grow or an average grow and also if the weight is wet weight or dry?
I have way more weed than I need so I’m happy, but I want to be a good grower in a hobbyist sense so I’m not sure what “good” looks like as a benchmark.

I believe that would be in a perfect grow, perfect environment, perfect nutes much love and luck.

Those numbers they give you are for perfect conditions start to finish which is hard to achieve indoors without alot of expensive automation to control the environment, and pretty much impossible if growing outside. Also, the thc% numbers are also for perfect conditions…the thc can be up to that point not necesarilly hitting it

I’m happy with my harvest since I’m a occasional toker and I have WAY more than I can consume in a year.

Yes, dried. Take what those descriptions say with a grain of salt. If they say flowering is 8 to 9 weeks, count on 12. If they say yields 16 oz. Per plant, plan on half that if your lucky. I just finished up an OG kush from MSNL, and they said 17 oz. per meter squared. I got 7 dry ounces, and it was a very nice plant.

I agree with Dexterado comment. I look at it this way, if you can get half the amount of weed they advertised I would consider that a good grow. I know that there are growers here that can get more but that comes with experience and the grow setup. Some grows you get more and others you may get less but you get your own home herb in the end…happy growing

Like the others said. I just harvested 4 plants 2 ILGM Jack Herer autos and 2 ILGM Bubble Gum autos got a total of 14.1ozs

Welcome to the community , every grow will get better As you learn to read the plants. Breeder’s guide is just a Estimate there’s a lot of factors goes in to how much you will harvest of a plant.
