Harverst getting close, could use some advise

Based on your pics from 2 weeks ago, I would have thought these plants were already harvested. I would also like to see what they look like.

Didn’t have any recent pics, had to wait until they woke up. I apologize for the quality of the pics, worst phone camera ever and I need to invest in a better close-up devices. Gotta take 100 pics to get 5 half decent ones.

Thought so too. I’ve been concerned how stuff is dieing from the top down instead of the other way.
I’ve been watching the pistils and trichs daily, sometime twice or more and I have been seeing some amber but not what I would estimate 10%. But this is my first go around so I’m still learning. They look better this morning than they have up till now.

What do y’all think?

You’re fine. You have a few clear trichs in there, but these are really close.

I grew four blueberry autos and my brother grew one out of the Autoflower mix pack and every one of them look like this with the yellowing leaves towards the end of its life, with some strains it’s pretty normal for this to happen.
Your trichomes looks thick, these things are going to hit like a hammer!

Cool, thanks. Yeah, I look at the bud in one spot and think it’s ready, then look at another and don’t see any amber at all. This patience thing is hard! :expressionless:

You could take the buds you think are ready, and give the rest a little time to ripen up

Ok, that’s good info to know. I have a bit of med dispensary sativa hybrid and some indica dominant hybrid and compared to the trichs on them, I agree with you - thick. I’m getting eager!

I’ve always been of opinion that you can’t take the sativa effects out of a sariva strain or the indica effects out of an indica strain. But you can certainly ruin both of them. That being said, trichomes are considered ripened when they are cloudy, and degraded when they are amber.

Thought about that but I’m planning on using the tent for drying. Not really set up anywhere else where I can somewhat control the temp & humidity. rH has been low around here lately.

What I’ve learned here on this first grow so far is the extent of my horticultural knowledge. I know nothing about hybrids but that sounds like some interesting reading. I prefer the day time effect over the couch lock. Not sure of this strain I have here, but I suspect it’s an indica anyway. So I certainly don’t want to let it go too far.
