You can with no problem. Just watch how many you have because these are also future bud sites.

I pretty much just removed fan leaves that would block airflow and ones that were hovering over bud sites that couldn’t be tucked

Looks good but she will need another trim job soon. The plant stretches a lot during Veg. Even with a 12/12 only they can still make 7’ plus.

Yeahh I did as much as I could today without doing too much so that I wouldn’t have to do too much more when she needs it again if that makes sense? Less stress during flower the better? If that is correct logic 
And yeah they’re still on 20/4 at the moment, I’ll probably keep it on that schedule until the autos are harvested then change to 18/6 for the photo periods, and also germinate two more autos under 18/6 then do 12/12 half way through that, so the next autos and the photos flower roughly same time, would that work?

Never too late to defol autos. I strip everything around day 1, 28, and somewhere toward the final stretch of flower (last 3 weeks), if I remember to. Not had major problems from that. Also periodically remove excessive fans that block out too much light.

I am more of a natural grower as I mainly do nutrients and that is all. I don’t even pH the water. Whats good enough for Mother Nature. Its good enough for me.
I try to do as little interference as possible. I rarely trim my fan leaves.

Yeahh I like the idea of natural too! Do you use rain water then or just straight tap water? As my tap water has quite high PH so that worries me. But this first run I’m trying to maximise yield, so I can make it last me until next harvest 
Atleast an oz or two minimum per auto for this run I’ll be happy if less than that then oh well

Our rain water is always brown so no, I don’t use it. Its worse than out filtered tap water. I use a PUR water filter and no issues. Up to the plant flowering, I don’t filter the water till the plant lifts up their skirts and say Hey daddy…I’m a girl. Then I start filtering.
Our tap water is between 7.0 to 8.0. Usually hovers around 7.4 pH.

I feel like it’s really early to be thinking about getting rid of bud sites. As she grows she’ll throw you some curves and you may find some of those lower sites get really juicy – if you LST and defol so they get light and air.
Remember the wise words taught here, “Sometimes with MJ the best and hardest thing you can do is nothing.”

Oh I think it’s almost perfect. Even I feel better looking at them. You’ll be freaked in four or five days. You may feel like you didn’t do anything to the plants, they’ll grow so much.

Yeah I believe my water PH is the same as yours, sets around 7.2/7.4 aswell, but usually the nutrients I use are organic and they naturally adjust the PH correctly if I use them correctly

I don’t feel massively confident Doing that yet, like you say I think just the occasional defol and LST she should do okay next day or two when she needs watering again the autos will get their first nutrient feed
Someone will k ow the link to YT about Lollipop a plant. Its actually easy. I did watch it but that was many months ago. Probably last year.

snap in half.
Yeah I have tried to FIM two branches on one of the photos and I topped the same one also, just as an experiment as I’ve never done it before, I was told it produces four more colas instead of two, but I can’t see how it’s taking shape into four just yet

One FIM site produces 2 colas if my memory serves me correctly.
