Now that I found a little bit of motivation. I’m a bit surprised how many people struggled with ways to catch run off when water/feeding. This is how I do it.
These are Pepsi crates flipped upside down on top of a dollar store a turkey pan.
When the plant feels like a loaf of bread when you pick it up it’s time to feed her. I simply put one gallon and one cup into my pump sprayer set my plant on top of my crate and I get 20% runoff every single time not spilling a drop.
Total cost $1 I don’t think it gets much more simpler than that.
I then grab my makeshift chair for watering. (This also prevents a$$ discomfort)
After watering flip up the crate and there’s your runoff
After testing my runoff numbers I pour the runoff into a 5 gallon bucket and it goes outside into the garden to feed the outdoor fruits and vegetables. (They Love the runoff)
