Hey all! Hope you’re having a great weekend! I think one of my girls is getting close. She’s at day 76 since flip to 12/12. Appreciate you taking a look and sharing your thoughts. I’ll keep posting as the week goes on.
Gettin close!! Good job!
Looks damn good. What nutrients did you use?
I used GH FloraTrio, but should mention i ran hot and suffered lockout for a while using it. I’m sure it’s mostly user error, but I wouldn’t mind thoughts on others for my next run. I’m also looking at switching from FFHF which I used this time to Roots Organic soil, based on what I’ve read regarding my issues.
Thoughts? @ChittyChittyBangin @FUKAZ28 @MidwestGuy
Look at Coast of Maine Stonington Blend.amd their dry amendments.
If you had to drop this you could, but I would wait a little bit yet. Still sone clear trichs and not much amber.
Hey all! @ChittyChittyBangin @dbrn32
Here are the latest shots of Maggie from this morning. Patience is truly a virtue! Still not seeing many more Amber trics than last time. Day 88 since going to 12/12.
I’m heading out of town next week for the holiday weekend, 22-26th, and trying to establish my plan of action. First thought was to chop her this weekend in hopes that I can get into grove bags before I leave. Second thought is to let her run til the 21st and hang to dry while I’m away. I have a dry space setup ready with good temp and humidity conditions, but not being around to monitor worries me. What do you think?
IMHO, I’d wait. Still plenty of clear trichs on there. You’re robbing yourself of potential. THC. Beautiful plant though, what strain is she?
Appreciate it @TransplantedFarmgirl ! I already know deep down that I need to wait. she’s a ILGM mango Kush photo. Her sister, Margo (same strain) is going to take even longer still!
Heads up: I let my kush plants go about two weeks longer than listed. Makes a world of difference. My afghan got 27% THC by being patient. It is totally worth the wait.
@TransplantedFarmgirl, Good to know. I’m in week 13 since flipping to 12/12, so it feels like an eternity, but I have read of many folks going way long on here. Also, my light intensity was lower than suggested for a good part of early flower. I wonder if that had an impact on how long they’re taking.
I appreciate the reinforcement on the importance of patience. Bangin bud or bust!
It may have some impact. But patience is key right now. Way more plants have the problem of being harvested too early than too late, IMHO. (Unless it is CBD. Those should be harvested a little early)
I agree with hanging to dry day before you leave.
Thanks @dbrn32
Latest pics of Maggie today - Day 96 since flip to 12/12. Leaving Wednesday through Sunday. Decision time nears…Chop Tuesday or let them ride Wednesday-Sunday unsupervised
Thoughts?
@ChittyChittyBangin @dbrn32 @TransplantedFarmgirl @Myfriendis410
Margo. Also day 96 since flip. White pistols recently receded and trichs are further along than I expected. Planned to keep her going until I got back next Sunday, but second guessing now.
@ChittyChittyBangin @dbrn32 @TransplantedFarmgirl whatcha think?
Take your trip boss, youll be good. Ive got the same thing going on trich wise and letting them go a while longer
Hey @ChittyChittyBangin ! Hope all is well and you’re getting ready for a little turkey feast upcoming. I’ve been looking at the COM line and the dry amendments. Great reviews and almost seems too easy. I found these guidelines in another thread. Do you have any recommended adjustments or additions to these feeding guidelines? I’m planning on growing 4 plants my next run and already looking ahead.
Add an 8qt bag of perlite to each 1.5 cu ft bag of COM. Feed every two weeks at half dose instead of every 3 to 4 thay way you keep the fridge stocked full of groceries. Supplement on your off week with worm casting teas with molasses with sea bird guano. Dont be suprised if you get a few fungus gnats. Mosquito bits are good for the larvae and eggs and sticky traps for the adults. Be sure to get their stongington blend plant food along with the buds n bloom…
Love using COM
Thanks, @ChittyChittyBangin! Do you think I should keep feeding the GH nutrients or safe to stop and let them use what’s left in the soil now? PPM out at last reading was in the 600s after plain ph’d watering yesterday.
