Growzens 1st Harvest Watch

Damn! Those are some pristine buds. Do you have a promo code I can use at COM, cause you deserve some proceeds off their sales for that ad! We’ll done!
Great additional info on the add ons. I’m going to continue my research and prepare my shopping list. Cheers!

Lots of.cloudy trichs, not too many amber. You’re pretty good for high THC levels. Will have more amber when you come back but they will be very ready to cut when you do. Good luck they look great!

Have you considered trying out a bud, dry it quick and see where it’s at? Looks pretty good to me.

Imo you could take these down Tuesday. It probably wouldn’t hurt much to leave these until you get back either but they look about ready.

Thanks for the added perspectives @TransplantedFarmgirl and @dbrn32. Sounds like I’m good either way, and it’s more a preference thing for ripeness at this point. I’m so psyched to be this close and still stressing over tiny details that I probably won’t be able to even tell the outcome of anyway (since I have no previous grow to compare to). Certainly a labor (and obsession) of love! :green_heart::rofl:
I’ll check back with a few more pics tomorrow and let you all know where I land. Thank you.

I would disagree respectfully here. If yer grow gets ya to where ya wanna be, congrats you have succeeded :slightly_smiling_face:

Meant that in a positive way @TransplantedFarmgirl . In that whether I chop Tuesday or Sunday, I personally probably won’t be able to tell the difference in the finished product until I have a few more grows behind me. Which means good times are ahead either way!

Hey all! @ChittyChittyBangin @TransplantedFarmgirl @dbrn32 @Poseidon1 @Myfriendis410 @MartyMarajuanaseed
Decided to do the deed today! :axe: Feeling accomplished and relieved to have the first run behind me. Lots to learn and improve upon and still the ever important dry and cure to get through, but I can’t wait to get the next batch going and continue the journey.
Thank you all for all the help along the way.

Hey all, @ChittyChittyBangin @dbrn32 @TransplantedFarmgirl @MartyMarajuanaseed
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend! :turkey: So I came back last night to find my girls drying in 38% RH! Based on the controller, looks like I ran out of water on Friday night and they sat in ~40% for about two days. Got the RH up to 60% and left them in there overnight. This morning I ran out and got a moisture meter. I have readings from 6-10% on the buds and about 20% on the mid/small sized stems. I read on another thread that I can place these in a. Container to redistribute moisture from the stems to the buds. Do you agree or have other suggestions on how to proceed?

Yes, dont seperate the buds from the stems and place them in a brown paper bag for a couple days. This will distribute the moisture from the branches and stems into the flower. …
Sorry to hear about your mishap.
Seal them up to start curing…

@MartyMarajuanaseed, any idea why the paper bag is recommended? My mind’s logic wants the buds and stems to be sealed together tightly. I threw them in these plastic bins and they are at 58% and 62% after a couple of hours. Will this do the same thing?

It will, just burp them a few times a day and check for an ammonia smell. If you do, i would definitely put them in paper bags for a day then try again in the sealed containers but i am pretty sure your going to be okay seeing how dry they were to begin with. They should be just right if your RH is at 60% keep the temps cool at around 55 degrees to 60 tops. Keep them in the dark! This is important. The absence of light helps the terpenes to preserve better also…
Nice haul by the way…
