Growth starting to slow down




Day30 Do Si do Autoflower
Started off really good then it started to stop/ slowly grow. also might be over watering. Your advice is well appreciated.

Lights-fc 1000w +20" @ 25%
Medium- coco coir and worm casting
Water- RO
Temp/humidity- 75° at 70%
Started uv lights a week ago but switched them off in fear of stunting plants more.

welcome Dougie_fresh. How much worm castings did you add to the coco? Normally if well prepared coco is nearly impossible to over-water but worm castings will change that equation a little bit. She does look a little small but not too bad.

She looks healthy as can be. It’s difficult for a plant to grow taller being tied down as it is. I would take off those tie downs and let her do her thing.

I used about a red solo cup full of worm castings for each 5 gallon pot.

That’s not much. I wouldn’t be too worried about over-watering unless the plant gives you some indicator. Like the @MidwestGuy said she looks happy so I wouldn’t worry. I would suggest omitting the worm castings next time. Worm castings add beneficial organisms to the soil, but coco isn’t soil. It doesn’t maintain an environment conducive to those beneficial organisms. It will cause the coco to retain more water though.
