Hell i have to use both. Nets and yoyos to hold up the colas.

I found the yoyos… Interesting…

I have been using these and similar for bud/branch support:

Other than the Jacks part A I sometimes give a dose or two of cal/mag towards the end of the stretch. But using the 4/2 mix I haven’t had any deficiencies

The yoyos and bamboo are my favorite, because I want to take my plants out to defoilate them. Rather than bending over each other. Once a plant has grown into a net…well that’s it, and I tried it but not a pleasant experience I found.

The little tide bid of data turned out to be insignificant really, it was about measuring sugars in the plant with another type of scope. But after some consultation with other who had done it more frequently it’s not worth it.

I use Bamboo along with the old pieces from the grow tent i tore apart…

Watered to runoff and fed the humidifier.

Setting up the flower tent very soon. Probably tomorrow.

Starting next to humidifier… Clockwise…

GG#4
Berner’s Cookies
GG#4
Maui Wowie Cherry Bomb Pheno

Also defoliated at the bottom and a bit inside for better air flow under the canopy.

With all the issues germinating… I can mark this up as yet another pest free grow so far. After switching to Roots Organics Original and improving my feeding and watering technique have not had one pest.

I should have kept track… At least 6-10.

Watering day!

Still waiting on Amazon (we don’t have prime anymore) to finally send out my Jack’s nutes… Should be here between the 15th & 20th.

Luckily my plants are looking great… No deficiencies.

Clockwise…from back left… GG#4, GG#4, Berner’s Cookies, Maui Wowie Cherry Bomb Pheno.

Been watering on with RO water… I love my RO Buddie!

Didn’t realize how much I hated filling RO at the grocery store. Actually had people bitching…while I was in the middle of filling 35 gallons and a 3 gallon jugs… Saying “you should let me fill now! You’re taking too long!”

At 6’4" & 290…with sun glasses on… All I usually have to do… Is slowly turn and give them a look… They shut up real quick.

I never understood a tiny people trying to push around huge people… Don’t they know a crushing could possibly occur?

Let alone they’re pushing a non violent guy… That was trained to box and wrestle.

The plants look stressed… Because it’s a watering day.

Also… With all that has been going on in my life… Will not be training to a net this grow… Buying more bamboo stakes today.

*qty 3 of 5 gallon jugs… Filling 35 gallons… I would get huffy as well.

Checked plants…

Been having issues with my humidifier… Getting closer to getting an AC Infinity humidifier. Maybe two.

Anyway… My two GG#4’s are just enormous. So tall suddenly that I bent each with 90 degree LST clips.

Was hoping for a more even canopy… But life happens.

Due to the growth… I probably forgot how long they’ve been vegging… I am setting up my flower tent.

Just have to say… For a guy with a very bad back… To say the least… I put up the flower tent on my own. I am tall… But never had an issue setting these up.

I’ll have it all up and sterilized tonight. Testing the lights and environment overnight… Probably have at least the two GG#4s in the flower tent tomorrow.

Jack’s nutes come this week.

Haven’t added nutes yet.

Finally got the flower tent back up.

Testing it now.

The veg tent… The GG#4’s are monsters… Gonna bend them with LST clips to even out the canopy in a bit.

Will through them into the flower tent tomorrow or Sunday… To get over the stress from the LSTing… Plus I’ll trim away lower branches and leaves.

I’ll trim up under the canopy one or two more times during the stretch.

My nutes are finally here @Nicky any tips before I start using them?
You had mentioned something about the silica and adding it to water first… pHing to 7.0…then adding other nutes and doing a final pH at 6.5? Correct?

Jack’s Part A
Silica
Calcium nitrate 13-0-0

Went with this Silica:

I skipped the UVB.

I still am using the far red flowering initiator bulbs(discontinued) by hlg in the silver flood lights. 5 minutes before lights out to 10 minutes after.

Lights 12/12 both the main and UVA.

I’m now a believer that those discontinued HLG far red bulbs definitely do take at least a week off my auto grows, and they seem to prevent my plants from looking really tired before lights out. I skipped using them on my last grow and they went just over 15 weeks when my average is closer to 13 and change.
I put them back in use for this grow. On 5 minutes before lights out and off 5 minutes after. Definitely on a faster pace, and these are some of the biggest autos I’ve ever grown.

I test for this very reason… My exhaust was backwards… Tent puffing like a balloon… Reversed.

Lol, I installed fire alarm systems for 30 years, so I know all about testing your work before you put it in service.

Do you have a pre filter inside your filter cannister? They’re meant to be on the outside if you’re pulling air through them, but on the inside if you’re pushing the air. Either way, you want the air to have to pass through the pre filter before it goes through the carbon section.

@Cap_Ron The filter used to be inside the tent… Just forgot to take off the prefilter.

I check my air flow with a airflow meter…but I may be able to turn the exhaust down if I take it off… Thank you for noticing!

Are you going without epsom salts?

No… Forgot to list it… Luckily still have a lot, didn’t have to purchase it.

Should be plenty good then. How many gallons of solution to you mix each time?
