The only task I haven’t completed is installing a new outside light on the side of the garage… Putting in a motion sensor… Right now it’s just flood lights on a switch.

All Christmas presents bought… Waiting for deliveries… Usps has been terrible the last two weeks…five packages all arrived at a the same “facility” only to sit… Then have the delivery status change to “arriving late, in transit…”
Since I’ve been swearing a lot this year… According to my kids… I am not getting anything from Santa this year. Bummer.

First I’ve heard of it. The big light manufacturers will just retool for similar leds. There are several available now that are competitive, some of those are even cheaper. The last light i built for myself has cree jb3030. I’m not 100% sure but they may even fit the footprint of Sammy 301’s. I believe cree has a 2835 chip (think gen 1 qb’s with Samsung 561c) that is even higher performance than the 3030’s.
It’s the end of an era for sure, but led tech will continue to evolve without them.

Good evening everyone!
I should try to update here a bit more while waiting for my grow space to assemble.
Seems with the fence installed, garage organized, made all the repairs I’d planned on to the house including started updating the lighting in the kitchen(pics below), bought my kids a bunch of extra Christmas stuff on top of their other stuff my wife was aware of, put a down payment on a Bernese Mountain dog puppy 
it’s ready by march for pickup… Got our storage area sorted, bought my last guitar (now have 10)… But now that nothing is left and I sit here with kids arguing, I find with nothing to keep me busy… I am actually dreading Christmas this year.
I’d gotten used to doing Christmas with just us, last year my birth family was so shitty after I’d gotten my hopes up for my kids (and myself) to maybe have more family (we spent Xmas eve with them… First time in 20 years).
I miss Christmas as a kid.
I hate being sad at Christmas.
I hope next year’s better socially and professionally… Without growing… I am too bored for a person who’s brain doesn’t stop.
