Hi guys.
Im looking at growing some clones under my viparspectra ks5000 on 25% light.
Has anybody had success under led as ive heard its too powerful to grow clones under an led light.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

I have a clone in flower that spent its life under LED lighting. I started it on 50% at 18 inches.

I’ve never heard that Growmie and run all my clones under LED full spectrum lighting at around 300 PPFD

Alot of folks prefer cloning once they find a strain or 12 they like… matter of fact i have a clone now in veg amd fixing to clone 2 more which one will be a clone of a clone…

Growing clones is fine with led’s. But it can be tricky rooting clones with a led. You want low ppfd in that case. Im around 150 ppfd when rooting. Any higher and they struggle to root bc there trying to focus on getting bigger instead of laying new roots. Very low light brother is the key.

Nothing like free plants! I like cloning, I just always take and start too many. So many plants, so little space!

If you are serious about this, purchase a quality PAR meter. Relying on your eyes or % on a knob is just guessing.

I root my clones off to the side of my LEDs. Let them focus on rooting and not eat themselves up

They’re on 20%, light at 36 inches
