I am on day 38 of veg. With spring around the corner I was thinking about trying to get some clones off of my GSCE before I send them into flower.
I was hoping someone could help with suggestions on a light that could grow clones but also support the plants for the first month of growth. I dont want to spend too much on a light considering I will just be using this for my clones.
Any ideas and suggestions onn cloning will be much appreciated!
What is your budget and how do you keep clones? Solo cups? Rapid rooters in a dome? Basically I’m just trying to figure out the size of the area before making a suggestion.
I dont want to spend an excessive amount, I am just looking to take a clone or two off the plants i have going now, so once I harvest I can put them back in the tent to veg them out.
But I have a 2x4 spare closet for an area, but no equipment yet
Cheapest would be a T6 or CFL’s, but an HLG 135 kit would veg a couple plants and come highly recommend 
Even cheaper would be a clamp on shop light fixture and an LED bulb with the plastic diffuser/dome popped off. Clones don’t need much light, but they will need more once you’re vegging under them. I agree with Matt’s suggestions for veg, but if you time it right and it’s just used for clones, you might get away with less.
