So I decided to try a few clones outside this time. Since they’re not originally seedlings would topping them off help keep the height down? I wanna keep a semi low profile for the neighbors.

Topping removes the atypical dominance. Then pinching multiple times will widen the plant. If you need to keep it low, I’d just trellis it and spread growth horizontally while maintaining height.
