I’ve never really learned to play much. I picked up a few things like 3AM, Barracuda, and of course smoke on the water. Beginners songs.

My first descent guitar.

The Lombardi has an interesting story. A distant relative bought this guitar to take with him for deployment during WW2. His daughters were selling it at a garage sale for $25. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

The only information I could find about Lombardi is that it was sold during the early 40’s through Sears and Roebuck catalog. The bridge for the arch top was lost over the years. I had to hand carve a new bridge to fit the arch. I need to work on the the tuning keys to get them working better. She plays and sounds okay.

Last is my 1998 Taylor 310. She sounds beautiful.
