Grow lights. Im having probs and need a good light!

Hey there. So im having a light issue. And im having money issues. Does anyone on this wide world here have possibly a light that will work well in a 2x3 tent?? The one i have is an amazonnlight and a hlg 65 watt white spec light. Would love a good light with a full spec to maximize my medicines potential. Lawyers are eating money apart and im lacking some decent meds. I hope it doesnt hurt to ask. Thanks growmies. Grow on!

It’s not a common sized tent so not a lot of options that are ideal for the footprint. I have a 30" x18" tent that I built a light for using 560mm linear led modules. If you’re handy I could help you source the parts and give you assembly instructions. Otherwise I would look for something like diablo x or hlg 200 from horticulture lighting group.

I saw the diablo 350. I want that light. It looks like it would do wonders in my tent. All the light i could need. Thanks for the tip brother

@dbrn32 helped me design lights for my grow space. That was 8 years ago and still going strong. I ended up with more light than I would have gotten buying commercially.

I’m 99% certain the Diablo 350 won’t fit in your tent. If it does, your exhaust is likely to pull tent walls in some and will move your light and potentially tear your tent from prolonged contact with the light.

Most 36" tents aren’t a true 36" internal dimension. Even it is, you’ll have a 1/2" free space on each side will pull every bit of that and then some under negative pressure. If the Diablo 225 is plenty of light for what you have. 5-6 years ago the most common setup for these was a slate 2 with two 288 boards. The new boards are significantly better and two of them at 100+ watts each is more than you need to run a good grow, so unless you’re going to 2x4 tent I would just stick with the smaller version.

Yea good point. My exhaust fan does bow the walls in. Im getting decent results with the set up i have as of now so until my mancave is done and i can put the 5x5 ive been drooling over ill just run my little lights. Ive been looking at the aero vivosun lights. The 150 looks like it would do super well in my tent

The tent was given to me. A friend saw i wanted to grow my own medicine and gave me a tent an inline fan and let me borrow his light till i got one. He had the shzlux 40 watt bar lights. They seem to work well and i looked em up and they are resonably priced. Whatcha think about shzlux?

Pretty sure @Growdoc uses Shzlux lights, and he’s a top shelf grower so they have to be good.

I have the 840 and 620 . Been wanting the new 1060 but no problem with the current ones. I will eventually put one in place of the 620 and use it to start plants.

Born and raised 509, then moved 206 after college. My wife lives on the west side so she got me to stay. I still have all my family and buddies from growing up there. We grew tons of cannabis outdoor guerrilla style from about 1988 on…

Had to move it indoor once I was on the west side. Until I got my own place with a decent outdoor green belt.

Good luck with your grow. Your plant looks fire to me too. Should be an excellent smoke.

You could invest in bar type grow lights, going to be spendy though. There are some companies that sell em, Fluence, Grand Master Limit… would be a good place to go.. and once you see the prices, you may want to consider a 4x4 tent? Because there will be so many more options available. But if thats the only tent size you can work with, @dbrn32 should be able to steer you in the right direction. That is if budget is an issue.

I could send an 100w light its not much but its something to add to it. Theres nothing wrong with the buds you have in there and looks like you still have a bit left for it to stack some more! Just tag me if youd like it or not i dont mind bro
