My goodness she is massive! Well done @Not2SureYet, it looks awesome. I am very impressed and I am now less confident that I will be able to keep them small to allow Paranoia to free range in the tentđ There will be some massive amount of aggressive managing on BB and CI going on as I donât have or will have another space.
Thatâs some cable work indeed! Canât make out much but if it works it works;)
The dehumidifier I have creates some heat so donât know if itâs the best (probably all of those kind will blow warmer air out) but it pulls out a lot of water

Thanks, I will try and find the de humidifier. For the cables LOL most of all that is just the ropes from the adjustable cables. I just have them wrapped around the top bars is why it looks so busy. I dinât feel to great yesterday, but needed to get the 2 separated. I will clean it up a little tonight. It looks like I may be selling the 3x3 and lights to a friend that wants to try growing. If he gets every thing forr the 3x3. I want to get the 96x48x80 tent. I think just that one would be perfect for me. I would not out grow it. heck, I will probably sell the 4x4 and keep the little one for drying.
The actual cables are just what came with the lights. lights come on for the plants at 4. So tonight I will post a few good pictures for you. I do want a good humidifier for the tent room it self though. Sooooo, I am off to go look and see if I can find one like yours
And i am still a little surprised by the plants. I thought autos were supposed to stay small. I canât wait to see how big the Magnum gets. It is going in a 5 gallon pot

Yeah considering everything you will defo manage to outgrow that tentđ
Well, today has not been to bad. My humidity for the 2 tents and both closets are down to around 50 and every one seems happy. Buds are drying nicely. looking a little fluffier than when I put them in there though.
This is my new project. My magnum auto and a Caramelicious. I am starting the Caramelicious for a friend. He canât seem to get seeds started, so I am helping out.
I have read about all the things you are not supposed to be able to do with autos that you do with photos. I am thinking the magnum may end up being a test subject to see what will work or not for me. I am thinking of trying to manifold it as well as later in life, defoliating it. If I had the room I would try that on the caramel instead. I have more of those seeds than the magnums. I donât seem to have an issue with small plants so I canât see where there would be a lot of harm in trying this.
Any ways. here is the little magnum in the 5 gal pot and the Camel in the 3 gal.
@rumpelstiltskin, here are a few pictures of my light hangers. I was able to raise them a foot more than using the hangers the way they came. Hope this helps some.
I use these 1 1/2 inch Carabiner clips but you could use a zip tie as well
Before
I just looped the cables through like this 3 times then clipped it
First time
Second time
Third and clipped

Thanks for sharing that shortening method. You just solved my problem with my germination setup

I have some what short tents, so that was a must for me. I am now looking at how to get the plants closer to the ground.
I am thinking a couple2x4s and some fence screen, I have to be able to get a drip pan under them for the run off. Some times I think soil would be much easier lol only water now and then.

I did this last grow, but only for a week, b/c I started too late. I removed the screens, but kept the containers & wood supports. Worked great for run-off & as a support for the plants.

Thanks, I have plant saucers but need the plants suspended above them. that way I can just slide them out to check the run off and TDS numbers. You can see above how I am at now. It works but if I could lower it 2 more inches it would help.
These plants seem to get a little taller each grow. I am going to attempt to use a trellis net on the Magnum. With only one plant in each tent. i will have a little room to work with this time.
Are you going to grow all those plants in there?

That was my last grow. I grew 6 in that tent. Next time, Iâm only doing 3-4 in that tent, b/c while I had a nice harvest, I could have had better; 2 of the plants definitely suffered from lack of light & space.
The containers made it very easy to slide everything around to get access to run-off.

Cool, that was my thoughts too. if I only had 2 plantsin there, I could have done a little better. Is that a 5x5? I donât know how you guys - gals do it.
4 in mine was to much once the plants started to mature. After that, I tried 3. Still squished lol I could do 3 of the B.D. but it would get a little tight. My problem seems to be these grow as wide as they are tall. My guess is the Magnum will fill the 4x4 tent. It would be great if I could do 3 at a time in the 4x4 @ 2 in the 3x3. The AK in there is starting to fill it up by it self. Maybe I need to adjust what I am doing?
Sounds like you arenât having issuesâŚyouâre just damned good at getting your girls to grow!
You might be interested in trying a scrog for your photo plants, next grow.
My last grow was mostly autos, which is why my crowded tent wasnât a bigger issue.

Donât laugh but I wonder if you could find a couple of broiler pans and if that could work you might get a couple of inches

LOL, we think a lot a like. I am using refrigerator shelves right now with soup cans for legs. I need some thing shorter than the soup cans. I am going to measure tonight and see what the minimum I can get away with would be. Then off to the hardware store tomorrow to see what I can find. A 4x4 may work. I think my saucers are 2 1/2" tall.
@blackthumbbetty, Thanks. They are doing all the work lol I have the trellis net I want to use on the magnum. I have been looking for pictures on how others use them. . A lot of info but not a lot of helpful pictures. Once it makes it to the tent. I will be back asking for a little more help. I really want that one to do well. basically to show that I have learned a little from every one here. Seems with each plant, I am getting a little better. Or so if feels

Youâre using fencing, right? Those nylon nets can be really hard to pull taut enough to act as a proper scrog screen. The coated fencing is perfect, though! You donât even need a frame, just lash it to your tent supports.
