I am hopeful I can go, I have a slight conflict with business travel, I will see if I can rearrange things. 3.5 hrs for me using 29 south thru Va. I think there is one in Dec too.

Will there be another posting for the upcoming LA WeHo event this week? Hadn’t seen anything yet. I also posted in the VA event posting to see if there was any updates or feedback from that event. Hope it was a positive experience and was received well.

I have no idea. I attended Chicago event yesterday but haven’t seen/heard anything about other locations.

How was the Chicago event? I love the Chicago area. I have only been as a couple of day tourist and on business, but really enjoyed it. Had one of the best steak dinners ever at Smith and Wollensky on the Riverwalk. Will there be a posting or update for the event here on the forums? Thanks.

Chicago was awesome. 56 tickets sold, so was a packed house. Damian Solomon of King Solomon Nutrients (one of our partners) was actually able to attend and affirmed that it was a blast, people were locked in to learn!!!

Cajun ribeye there is delicious, no doubt!
Jungle Cae seemed knowledgeable and kept attendees engaged for sure. Like Jake said, there was a rep from Solomon on site and he did a good job of promoting his product without coming off as a salesman. $25 admission included a 5 gallon frow bag, 3 pack of blue dream and some other swag. Everyone seemed pretty stoked about this.
I introduced myself to the young lade from EventHi and Jungle Cae and offered to help with anything needed but didn’t engage with them after. I sat at a long table with Joe, turns out Joe lives 15 minutes from me and Is a member here but has never posted, and Steve? An older guy that drove up for the weekend to attend the event. I donated my seeds to a young couple sitting next to us just starting and my grow bag to Joe. Answered a few questions about lights, made a soil recommendation, and bs’d about nutrients and nutrients and our favorite strains until the presentation started. Everyone was pretty engaged for the 50ish minutes Cae spoke and then our group grew a little afterwards looking at plants. A guy joined that said he’d been growing since 93 and had a delicious looking same of apple fritter. Then we were asked to leave the table so they could setup for the next event. I suggested to everyone part of our circle to join the forum and look me up, we would be happy to help all of them.
Extra plug to the gentleman repping Made Gallery. I’m not sure if he was owner or employee but he was awesome and it seemed like the perfect venue.
On the constructive feedback side. I was really bummed that the older guy to my left drove from Louisiana to get a 1 hour basic rundown of what it takes to grow cannabis and a 3 pack of seeds. Staying downtown alone isn’t cheap. But he didn’t seem unhappy. There’s not a lot you can do with one hour and a group of 60, but it seemed extremely fast. And I was a little bummed that the forum didn’t get a single plug. They said the online portion of the program is expected to be available early next year and I literally thought there’s probably 100 people here that could answer 95% of beginner questions on any given day.
All in all I think it was fun and was happy to network a little.

Happy to hear that it went well and that there was good involvement and participation. I felt like the event in L.A. went by quickly and it was definitely longer than an hour, more like 4…lol.
Very excited for this coming Thursday.

I could see that. There was a different but affiliated event right after ours, so. Several of the group stayed for both but I had to bounce.

Hey there @dbrn32 , Happy Sunday! Hope you have had a great weekend. I have to say that I had the best time at the GROW CLUB- At The Artist Tree Lounge in West Hollywood, 11/20/2025. I brought my adult daughter with me at the last minute and she had a blast as well.
I was wondering if there will be a post made, or should I make one, and where is the right category to post about it? Just wanted to do a write up and upload the few pictures that I took of the event and the swag that was there. Thanks for your help.
