So it was a very fun interesting event i must say! I met some wonderful people from the forum and the event. It was nice seeing @patrick1960 @WilIy @OH_Ganjier there. Spoke to a guy sitting next to me about how hes starting his own genetics soon. Hes been hunting for the right strains and once he gets the tests back for virus from his mother plants he will move further. The host alex was an awesome woman with a very smart business model that i wouldve never thought of myself! And max yarrow was great!! Taught those that needed some basics and also taught me some things that i didnt even think about. I guess theres never too much reading and he is so passionate about what hes doing hell everyone there i talked to was. Thats what makes this so great and for us to build together. I loved it. I was hoping and thought they had vendors promoting and selling their products there like king soloman nutes etc but didnt see anyone which is okay i still was happy that i went. Thanks again everyone in the ilgm community for making this happen @Olaf.ILGM @dbrn32 and many more. Im so grateful for the kindness you guys give and help out the community i hope to travel to many more events
I have a suggestion @Olaf.ILGM @kuczeruk As the event was winding down in Lynchburg I was talking to some new growers. I mentioned the ILGM forum as a great place to get ongoing grow help. I mentioned my experience with the forum and said it is the best on line cannabis help forum out there. My suggestion is at the sessions is to mention the ILGM forums and maybe put a link on the welcome packets to the forum. These forums have helped many new growers and I feel like the forum could be mentioned as a grow tool to help them.

Hey @patrick1960 @Bjenks540 @OH_Ganjier , So glad that you guys had a great time! It sounds like you had a good turnout, and the time spent there was well worth it. I have also suggested for the Los Angeles ones as well, a little more forums representation and exposure to get people signed up. I was allowed to speak at both events so far here and was lucky enough to get 2 people to sign up at the first one and 4 at the second one. Jake @kuczeruk was kind enough not to ban me as I kept rambling about it, although they did have to tackle me to the floor to get the microphone away from me…lol All kidding aside, I was honored to mention it at the sessions and felt like I did well at representing us here on the forums. On Instagram, which I don’t have but my daughter showed it to me, there’s a little clip of me talking about the forums briefly. It was truly wonderful to interact with all of the people. Thanks again for the update on how the event went.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure if there was an internal ILGM shared calendar or not. When I went to the seed buying page and went to the Community/Grow Club tab just now, it’s showing as an active event for February 12th. Same day as the Seattle one going on.
Gotcha. I wouldn’t see it here unless Jake or Olaf post about it. Even then doesn’t necessarily mean I see all of them.

Hey @ShureGreen , these were the latest ones from the November 2025 Grow Club event at The Artist Lounge in Los Angeles, CA. I would imagine that it’s the same for all of the Grow Club Events. Next one is coming in February for Los Angeles and Seattle. Have not seen them on the merchandise side yet for sale. I have already gotten a ton of compliments, and sometimes comments, when I wear mine out and about in the city. Lots of people love it. Of course, had one Karan tell me that I should be ashamed of myself for wearing it in front of her children in the grocery store. Funny thing, she couldn’t see the irony of saying that to me out loud and in public while she had on a Budweiser shirt. Her boys were about 6-8, so I had no problem politely pointing that out to her, and saying that exponentially more people are killed in alcohol related driving and health incidents than with marijuana. I was just trying to save people’s lives and didn’t understand why she wouldn’t want the same thing for society as a whole. I was willing to let it go after that, but when she started cussing at me in front of her kids, I turned to them and said “kids, you’re going to find out really soon that your mom here has been lying to you all this time about Santa Clause. When you do, think about everything else she has been potentially lying to you about your whole lives including marijuana and alcohol. You can tell by her yelling at a complete stranger, that she has mental problems.” And I walked away with her screaming in the store. Luckily, I’ve been going to this same store for over 30 years and they all know me, including the GM and department managers. We’re cool.

I just wanted to reach out to you to thank you once again for the great Grow Club experiences so far.
Super excited for the next Grow Club in Los Angeles at The Artist Tree Lounge, on the 12th of this month. Do you know if I can use the same Forums10 discount code or has that expired? Is there anything in particular that I should look for to report on? I always do a deep dive post afterwards but want to make sure that I include any relevant information that you may want to have in the forums.

Unfortunately Grow Club is now dead brother, along with my role (you’ll notice the EventHi ticketing pages have been removed).
ILGM has been acquired and events were not part of this new vision for the org.
It was a sincere honor building Grow Club and I’m extremely proud of the work we did to help further build the home grow community. Thank you, as your (and the Forums) involvement was a huge part of what made this so damned special.

Jake, I’m so super sorry to hear that!!! It must have come as a surprise to you and the others. I know that I’m shocked. Will there be a mass announcement or will they let everyone find out organically? Are you at liberty to say who/what company or have all ties been cut already and NDA’s in place? I think that you have my personal email, please be sure to forward your contact info there. I would enjoy staying in touch and helping in whatever way that I can. I too have enjoyed the experience of meeting and hanging out a bit.
That means that the already scheduled events are off the table too then?
