Lol the plan was to get in there today and do it, just couldn’t tolerate the mess any more…. It looks slightly slightly better hahaha (very slightly)
I destroyed 2 helmet heads in the first grow attempting to get them off with my fingers. Similar ripped it right out of the soil .
Thank you! I wasn’t 100% it was a helmet I thought the leaves were just clammed shut. I am going to try the droplet technique ^ and see if I have better luck that way thank you @MeEasy.
I have an aloe gel organic laying around I think it’s made from seven minerals. Says 100% aloe, is there anything I should be looking at on the bottle that would make it not ok to use?
Picking up what you are putting down, I will look around in store to see if they have the one you posted above, and order one so it’s here for future Helmet heads. You are the best!
I use the aloe throughout my grows it’s great for the health of the soil and plants it pretty much does for plants the same thing it does for people. Speeds healing and makes them overall tougher to handle environmental changes and repells bugs… 1/8 tsp per gallon of water, only catch I’m aware of is it can go bad so never use the aloe water mix after 24 hours of mixing it
@GoingGreen Have you read any of the stuff about planting shell down once the seedlings shows it’s tail? They say the tail will turn itself downward and the shell will stay trapped in the soil. I did that method for my newest 8 and had zero helmet head on this run. Last time I had a couple heads I had to do the drip method on lol. Your grow looks great btw!!
I vote don’t give up on her she could surprise you
I had one this grow that did something similar it stayed with just the two leaves for like three weeks I even pulled it out of the 5 gallon pot it was in and put it back into the super sprouter for a while then into some fresh happy frog with some newly popped autos and it started growing and didn’t flower till like week 8 lol I was surprised then I didn’t have room for it because I already replaced it so I ended up giving it to my mom to finish in her back yard… here’s a couple pics first was on 3/7 the 2nd is the day before I gave it away 4/22 just starting to flower
I drop a replacement anytime I have an issue with an autoflower because they are so picky and can flower whenever they want. That’s why I had to give that one away I just couldn’t squeeze it in
