Continuing the discussion from New grower growing outside need advice:
Looking good, nice job!
Thank you! Much respect to the site and all who grow! I’m a little worried about moving into this 10g pot. As far as watering my transplant.
Fabric pot?
Today after transplant
Sorry this is 10g plastic pot
I may humbly suggest taking a drill and making quite a few holes on the lower half of the pot. Think spaghetti strainer. There is nothing that messes up otherwise beautiful plants faster than water logged roots. Breathing of the roots is more important than big pot size I would suggest. Bigger pots have a bigger problem with this especially as you transition to flower and fall weather.
Plant is real looker there.
That’s what I did at the start. Took a half inch bit and took out the x for factory and then added more myself.
I would have recommended putting some drainage holes in also, nice job. With this you should be able to give a thorough soaking after transplant.
She looks great. Keep us updated as she begins to flower. You’ll be a happy man come fall.
Thank you. Can’t wait. I’ll keep posting and surly asking more ? Gotta stay humble to learn
