Green crack 9 weeks

I have a green crack plant and it’s nearing 10 weeks but the hairs are still mostly white?Everytjing I’ve read said not to harvest till at least 70% is red/orange…any advice…Leaning toward cutting it as a loss

Looks like 10 weeks from seed. Weeks from seed is not relevant. The 10 week harvest clock starts when the plant starts flowering. How many weeks has the plant been flowering? Based on appearance it looks like ~5 weeks. In that case you have 3 to 5 weeks to go until harvest.

Your plant is doing great and your flowers will bulk up over the next few weeks.

You can chop it anytime kinda like green tomatoes if ya like em that way.
She is not ready / ripe yet from what I see.
Do you have a jewelrs loop or some kind of magnifying device to better see the Trichomes?
I may also be seeing a few nanners….yellow green banana looking things on that bud.
Is that 10 weeks from seed? From flip?, from start of flowering?

Oh man. I wish I could buy green tomatoes at the grocery. Fried green tomatoes sound good right now.

My wife does something to them and pre batters them, stick them in the freeze and we have fried green tomatoes through the winters :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::+1:t2:

I tried growing tomatoes and bell pepper in my back year several years ago. They always get bugs that ruin the plants. I should grow them in my tent that isn’t being used right now.

Thanks a million guys. This is only my second grow so I’m still a rookie…I do have a jeweler magnifier …It’s been 9.5 weeks from the time I changed the lights to 12-12 it’s been a legit 9.5 in the flower stage…I have 6 total all the others look great….

:green_heart::green_heart::green_heart::green_heart: some green crack

Dadgum @MidwestGuy a pile of 'mators and fried pickles would go haaaaaard.:rofl::rofl:

They look awesome dude. Plants rarely ever look the same unless you clone. There’s always a few strays that look different. I would let them keep growing until your Trichomes are cloudy on your buds not the sugar leaves and some amber color. Depending on if you like couch lock or not. Congratulations on your grow, looks great!

Please see the image carefully. Are these fuzzy, tentacle like hairs pistils indicating transition to flower? Been like this about a week plus. Watermelon auto. Seed popped 11/10/23
Leaves broke surface 11/22/23
49 days in veg. If these arent preflower signs i question if this really an auto. Thank you in advance

It normally takes somewhere between 10 and 15 days give or take after the light switch to start counting the time they are in flower.
This time is the transition period the plant goes through so your maybe 7.5 weeks or so in flower

Can you post pics of entire plant/s it looks to me like they might need a little Nitrogen bump…not much but depends on how the entire plant looks. It doesn’t use a ton of N in flower but it does need some.

What I see is it’s a girl but not flowering.
You’ll see this look when it’s in flower.

What is your light schedule?
Are there other plants in there and are they also Auto?
It very well could be an auto that just hasn’t decided to start flowering. I’d give it more time but at some point you could adjust lighting to less than 18/6 is that’s what your running now.

Thank you. The light schedule is 24/0. She has been topped and tripped due to the broadness of her overlapping leaves building wet spots on the leaves. But she acts like a photo with recovery. Here is her a week ago and her today.
You can see shes tripled in size. Trimming, topping, lst, nothing stops this girl. The growth you see is the last 10 days. Shes dwc. Water temps 65. Day temp 75-77. Night temps 70-73. Ppm 1200. Phd @ 5.8 and fluctuates to mid 6 . Feed once a week Advanced Nutrients. Humidity 60% until flower where itll be closer to 40.

In my opinion all things need some sleep/downtime to rejuvenate etc. I’ve ran seedlings 24/0 but once they’ve been up above soil for a week or two I set lights to 18/6 moving forward and then to 14/10 or 12/12 if photos.
Think nature

Are you running 24/0 for a particular reason? Are the lights your running on the lower end of power and wanting to make up for that running 24/0?
What light manufacturer /model do you use?
It’s hard to tell from the pics but she looks to be in good shape.

Shes insanely healthy and vigorous. I ve read autos can be done on 24/0 so i do it. I am using a viparspectra v600 @ approximately 24". I have also entertained the idea of 12/12 to make her flower but have read that can stress her and effect yield and growth speed. Is that your experience? Also, if i do 12/12 her, do i switch back to 18/6 or 24/24 after flowering is triggered and underway or stay at 12/12?

I suppose autos can be run 24/0 but in my opinion everything needs some down time.
I would go 20/4 minimum and turn both veg and bloom lights on now but that’s just my opinion it’s up to you
I have ran autos in both 18/6 and 12/12 when they were fillers in tents with photo period plants and they did fine but again I have the lights to do shorter days to get the recommended DLI amount.

Too large of a change all at once can stress anyone and anything out. If you shorten the days do it in stages at least that’s my thought.
If truly an auto she will flower when she wants to and even dropping 4-6 hours off the lights may trigger her.
If she is a photo then you would need to go 12/12.

One of my concerns is the company screwed up and sent photos labeled as autos

That can happen.
Only way to know after giving some more time is reduce your lights on time.
If they are Photo period and you end up going 12/12 you don’t want to change that back to anymore daylight or you will have issues
