Check out dees trichomes

I’m growing green crack autos from seedsman. This one is 6weeks from sprout (give or take a couple days)… Plants are a little small, I’m using 2 gal fabric bags. I know now that I should have gone bigger bags, but money is tight and so was my time. I just wanted some in the dirt. Got my phone adjusted, finally. Everything is looking good, except the tips of the leaves on a lot of the girls are yellowing and curled a bit. Maybe the lights are too close?

I got the cheapolights. They will do for now.
Main question, a couple of them are about this stage. What say ye about these trichomes?

Not even close at 6 weeks from sprout. I expect you have at least 6 weeks to go, depending on when the plant started flowering. Time from sprout is not relevant for determining harvest time. Time in flowering is the proper metric. It takes a plant 8 to 10 weeks from the start of flowering to ripen fully for harvest. How many weeks has the plant been flowering?

Be sure that you are looking at trichomes on flower calyxes when you get there rather than those on sugar leaves. Those on sugar leaves will ripen much more quickly.

They are 3 weeks in bloom. Most of the plants are lesser developed, that is not as frosty yet with almost exclusively white hairs. A couple, including the one I photoed are looking riper. I’ll just let them all go for a couple weeks, then look again.

You have 5 to 7 weeks to go yet.

I thought so, it’s just that there is a wide deviation between these two and some of the others. I got Pineapple Express Auto from fast buds going too. These are full of white hairs, not too frosty. I should expect some to mature sooner than others. I remember that from my outdoor grows back in the day. The only ones I ever harvested were the runts that ripened a month early. All my really nice big buds were found by cops, hunters or something. I did manage to stay outta jail. 33 years later, it’s medically legal here in Kentucky, hope to see recreational become legal b4 I kick the bucket.
Peace out
