Great White Mycorrhizae

Hey what’s up ILGM family, so I got some great white powder for my roots and it’s working great buuuut I accidentally got some on my leaves of my plants and I was wondering if it’s going to affect the plant or burn it? The leaves look like the have a brown build up on them so I’m just curious if anyone has done this before on accident as well and if anything happened to their plants.

Good question, I also got some great white mycorrihizae, both granular and powder, and used it in my veggie garden and may have also dusted a leaf or two lol

Hiya @Manny_FTGUTube …the powder you got on your plant leaves is an inert carrying agent for the mycorrizhae…it doesn’t affect ppm or ph…just rinse the leaves off so the active part makes it to the grow medium where the mycorrizhae fungus can help the plant’s roots thrive.

Love that stuff! Super overpriced though. Has to be a cheaper alternative.

There are in fact @McLovin777! I know GH makes a Subculture B, which is just their mycorrhizae powder. I have a big jar of it that I’ll never be able to use all of it lol!

@kabongster Doesn’t look like anything is wrong with them just a little rusty kind of color but I’m sure it’s fine, just wanted a second or third opinion! Can never be too csreful.

@McLovin777 that stuff surely is expensive but I bought (1) 4oz container from Amazon that they shipped to the wrong place so they sent me another 4oz container after refunding my money. But I actually received both so I got (2) 4 oz containers for the price of one so I can’t complain haha it worked out in my favor I guess.

@ktreez420 I’ll have to look into that product as well

it seems there are as many different retail brands of mycorrhizae as there different strains of fungi associated with the stuff…I dunno if the price could show more strains available or a higher quantity available, what you see is an inert carrying agent for the microscopic mycorrhizae…

There are several garden websites that sell mycorrizhae cheaper than the Great White brand. Check around.
