Yesterday was a great day here in Mid Missouri! 1st day of legal recreational weed! Was my 1st adventure to a dispensary and my 1st time with edibles. It’s been a long time coming. Very happy!

To my knowledge you still have to have a license to cultivate but recreational is for everyone. Im a bit salty as i got my card renewed before they decided they last for 3 years now and wont give me the extra 2 years on my license as the bill hadnt went into effect. They can do six flowering plants, six non-flowering plants over 14 inches tall, and 6 non-flowering plants under 14 inches tall. For a total of 18 plants, and you can’t go over that at any time. Also, whatever you grow can’t be seen by the public. Pulled from a google search

Im waiting on psilocybin to be passed. Tried my hand at growing a time them a few times but just couldnt get it down got frustrated and gave up. I really like the idea of being able to use plants like the indians did back in the day and i feel like a lot of these doctors are tied to helping big pharma so they just push pills. Being a recovering pill addict i just wont settle for any sort of pill form of med from a doctor anymore and i like to seek out natural ways to take care of my issues. I wish they would quit worrying about all the idiots and legalize it like a few other states but i guess one step at a time. We all know the government likes to take their time with these things

Ive had flower, edibles, and concentrates from dispensaries from 3 different legal states. I currently have a vape fom MKX in Mich.
Why is it that the flower thats homegrown is always my go to? It just seems like the effects from the commercial side is nowhere near what we produce. Am i missing something? BTW, congrats Missouri!! I cant wait for the day the old folks home shuts down and our state can finally progress. Hell, we legalized medicinal in edible form ( insert eyeroll here ) and it still hasnt took off…

Thats very strain dependent on the effects but i prefer homegrown over dispo because the dispo stuff is always so dry. Like put your grinder aside and just crumble it in your fingers. So i did some research and most major commercial breeders will freeze dry their products to speed up cure time and the cure time is where your wanting to take your time trapping in all those terps and allow for a slow dry to allow trapped moisture to escape and a smoother smoke. Besides that their prices are outrageous ive seen $380 an oz in MO. Just my 2 cents
