Granddaddy Purp Clone

Hello all!
This is my first time growing MJ and Ive been so excited watching this plant grow the past 7 weeks.
I have zero knowledge on growing the “proper” way. All I know is, if I can grow food this way, I can grow mj!
The current set up is a 10g fabric pot…and “organic” miracle grow :joy:
Frankly, the price was right so that’s what I got.
I water this plant 2x a day, leave it outside majority of the time till it looks sad.
We got a lot of rain the past few weeks so I brought it inside and put it under my big LED basement light and a box fan……the thing doubled in size!
I did top this plant around week 3 after transplant and since then, you can really tell the difference.
I’ve personally learned a lot from this group, but I’m curious on when I should start looking for signs of flowering?
Should I leave it in my basement and let it flourish? Or put it back outside?
Thanks!

From what I’ve read nothing will compare to the light unfiltered sun can give your plants. If it’s not too much of a hassle just continue what you’re doing when it’s a rainy day, plant looks good.

If you leave it outside it will transition towards flower any day now with the amount of daylight we are getting now.

Right!
So, if I take it back inside…what should my light schedule be? Because honestly, it’s on 24hrs

18/6 is most common. I do not recommend 24 hrs for multiple reasons. I believe they need some time to rest. Also they can only absorb a certain amount of light each day so if your light is adequate they will “turn off” on their own so now you’re wasting electricity and wear on your light.
