Grandaddy purple issues

I have 3 Grandaddy Purple feminized growing in 30 gallon garbage cans with the bottoms cut out and buried 2 inches into soil with mulch around the cans. Growing in a mixture of garden soil vermiculite and perlite. All 3 started from seed at the same time and transplanted to cans on the same day. One has begun to flower and is dark green the other two have not begun to flower and are light green with yellowing leaves on the bottom and some spotting. Any help would be appreciated

as they are growing well until this last week.

It is normal for a plant to shed its lower leaves as it ages. It’s not a problem.

Looking good! Fading is normal as mentioned above. Welcome to the forum

I think they look awesome. The Grandaddy purple is one of the strains i plan to grow in the future myself.

The two light colored ones look like they could stand some nitrogen, the yellowing comes on up on the plant, indicating low nitrogen.
