They are 7 weeks old. I started in a 2x2 tent with one spiderfarmer sf1000. They quickly outgrew the tent and the light. At about 6 weeks i moved them to a 4x4 with 4 vipar spectra xs1000. 5 gallon fabric bags with 80% ocean forest, 20% happy frog.
They seem to like a gallon of water every other day. Keeping ph around 6.4 run off checks about 6.2.
Using ozarka spring water.
Using fox farm nutes, grow big and big bloom half strength about once a week.
Also adding cal mag iron about 1 tsp every other watering with a tbsp liquid seaweed.
Temps are around 77-78 with lights on and 67 off.
Keeping humidity between 45-55.
Have supplemental co2 buckets hanging in tent.
I had the two sf1000 at 16" above canopy at 80%.
At week 6 i noticed some discoloration of fan leaves on the one to the left. So i flushed with sledgehammer and backed off on the calmag and nutes in case it was burn.
It was about this time i switched to the 4 xs1000. I hung them 24" above the canopy
At 75%.
I ended up moving the lights to the top of the tent at 50%.
The one on the left looks great except for the clawing. The one on the right has discoloration on a few fan leaves.
They look like they could handle more than half strength and throw in the calmag also. What are your runoff ppms? Try to maintain around 1,000. PH looks ok, so I don’t think you’re having a root zone issue. Wouldn’t hurt to bump it up a point or 2. And you’re looking about ready to flip. Doesn’t look like anything major is going on. Just keep in mind when you flip those babies are going to fill that tent wall to wall.
You need get a tds/ppm tester and compare nutrient solution or water in to runoff. I agree the ff schedule is high, but i also agree that half strength 1x week may not be enough.
Are you letting the soil dry out a bit in between water/feed. Every other day seems too frequent. Do you lift the pots to check wet and dry weight? (good practice to get into)
